This is something a bit different about the main artwork. And I kind of like it. I will passing on this as I own the singles with artbox.

This is one series I've been interested in for a while. I've heard its good for the most part, but I hear the ending sucks.

I prefer this over the the artbox that came with the singles. But, I have the later, so I'll pass.

I don't know if Claymore can really be considered an anime classic, at least not yet. FLCL you could MAYBE make a case for.

Looks like a longer shot of what they used on the top of the art box. Like some of the others I have the singles+artbox so this is a pass for me too.

I guess their definition is very subjective on their end versus each person's. Here is FUNi's official for some of the previously released titles: http://funimation.com/animeclassics/.

I think FUNimation's idea of an anime classic are titles that sold well for them.

Sold well for them (as in FUNimation) makes no sense.. They have first time collection (for FUNi) that is under this line: Chobits, Excel Saga, FLCL, Gantz, Noir,...

EDIT: maybe perhaps sold well or worth while bring back in-print again for the particular license rescues.
