[Simulcast] Freezing Episode #03 Review
Review by Chris Beveridge
Mania Grade: B
Quote:
In Summary:
Freezing definitely has something in mind with how easily both Bridget and Kazuya bond as a Limiter and Pandora warrior, something that's plainly evidenced in the actions here. What's harder to pin down is just how far Freezing wants to go to make its points. It's been definitely violent in the first couple of episodes and does so again here, but it takes the sexual violence up a significant notch over those episodes which was really surprising. There's a lot to like about Freezing as it finds its footing, largely with the character designs and the fight scenes themselves, but it hasn't found its groove yet and the characters aren't accessible enough to really feel at ease with. There's potential abound here but it doesn't seem to have a really clear cut direction or connection with the characters just yet.
