Not sure whether to get this or the Japanese release. I feel like Manga will find a way to screw it up. Maybe I will wait for reviews. Still, SSS on BD is a must have.

Odds are it's just a direct copy, simply with different packaging. If they were released further apart, I'd suggest more caution. But we're getting it 2 weeks prior to the Japanese release so they're likely the exact same thing.

The three SAC features were already released on BD in Japan a couple of years ago, but only in a Solid State Society, not as an Individual Eleven (err... you had to buy them in a boxset, no singles released, just in case). I don't have an opinion on how the US release will turn out, but just thought I'd add some info.

I rather doubt it's the same disc as the Japanese release. The Japanese BD is just a re-release of the BD previously available only in the box set with Laughing Man/Individual 11 compilation movies. I'll stick to the Japanese release, if for nothing else but consistency's sake. Also, want to bet this release date gets pushed back?

Right, AFAIK the JP BD doesn't have an English selection when the disc first starts up, unlike other BV discs which are meant for both markets.
