This was originally was listed as a DVD re-release scheduled at 4/5/2011 (and listed with multiple online retailers). The release is definitely not going to be released on that date. As spotted by muhootsaver, the listing was apparently recently modified to a Blu-ray / DVD Combo by Amazon.com. Is it typo on their end? Or a delay caused by adding Blu-ray to the release?

Well that combo price does seem nice since I didn't buy it the first time it got released, hopefully it won't get pushed back.

Well, if there is a Blu-ray it will be sure to be pushed back. The thing is, the Japanese Blu-ray is schedule for 04/22/2011. So, the US version will be later than that one.

Well the one being released on April in japan is a cheaper re-release but I can see that being a cause for a US delay, if anything Funi should try and get Spice and Wolf Bluray for both seasons for a future DVD/BD bundle.

The upcoming JP re-release has the same MSRP (￥ 36,750) as the original boxset.

I don't have this show yet, so I might buy it if it really does turn out to be a combo pack.
