Interesting. I wonder why for such a low amount. I was expecting FUNi to be sold for somewhere around $100 million.

So it finally happened. Well I hope they continue to be the same, and that if anything has to change, it's only for the better of FUNimation. It will be interesting to not see "A Navarre Corporation Company" anymore.

I just hope that Funi can continue to keep things up after changing hands.

No, I'm sure that the investors who bought it-including Gen Fukunaga who has been running it for years-didn't plan out for the future and were just looking around at what they could spend $24 million on and since their private airfield is full of their private jets and they own 3 towns worth of property that if they don't know what they are doing or have a plan the $24 million is just a statistical rounding error at the end of the year.

Probably because Nivarre will still be making money off of them as their distributor.

FUNimation's future strategies and associated risks to execute them are not in line with Navarre's strategic direction
struck me as a strong statement, in corporate-speak.
