It's that experience that makes me want to buy a bluray in the first place with its high quality visuals. If I just wanted to watch it and didn't care about the quality, then I'd just watch it streaming.
If you just wanted to take in the animation, your could switch it to the dub track and then turn off the subtitles... And if need be mute the audio.
