In this cover, Yui represents whoever was in charge of Bandai's handling of K-On's release (with lossy audio and song changes.)

I could (begrudgingly) live with the song alteration, but I really wish the lossy audio was seen as a big enough issue to prompt a fix out of Bandai for the first and subsequent volumes.

Oh well...want to care, nice cover, but won't be buying this release.

Despite the issues with the series, I'll still go for the BD releases for the series. As to the artwork, it works perfectly fine here.

It was hard enough to get a fix out of Bandai on something that was wrongly encoded in MONO (i.e. Haruhi S2 + Haruhi-chan.) From their point of view, they probably think we should be grateful that they included left and right audio tracks AT ALL this time...

Disappointed about the lossy audio, but I'll pick this up in the future...eventually. The audio issue has killed any enthusiasm for me to go pre-order K-ON! from Bandai.

Hmm, is there no release date for this yet?

Nope. I would imagine it could be "August."

Then pushed back to September, if we have volume 2 by then.

It's not a bad cover and I will likely pick it up, despite the various issues with the release and my overall disappointment with it.

I'm not terribly impressed with the cover, but I'll buy it anyway. I've never seen the show before; do the song changes change the show in any way?
