They say that dubs are the furthest thing on their minds right now from what I get. Instead, they have premium editions to get us to buy their licenses.

It's time to graduate from here. But there's still some business left.
The only thing better than anime is sports. Get hit hard and you got JACKED UP! Or else it's a C'mon Man!

It's prob cheaper to do a BD and an artbook over putting a dub on a title.

And I would agree with you on that. Remember that doing an English dub costs money. Translation and script writers, sound engineers, the VAs themselves, ADR director, etc. I think that NIS America is being smart business sense in that they have to keep their anime division separate from the games division, when it comes to how they do things.

Since the anime division is growing, it's critical that they do what they can to make money and grow effectively, so that way they can continue to grab more great titles for the US market. I'm saying this even though I'm a big English dub fan, and I would love nothing more than to see Toradora for example to get an English dub. I think the artbooks and BD do add value to the overall package, and I personally like these Premium Editions. Again, unique box design that really makes it stand out in your collection.

I'm reading the manga of Kimi ni Todoke so don't plan to bother with the anime, but I'm super stoked about the release of Dororon Enma-kun Meeramera, I love what I've seen of that show (the animation was incredible).
