Yes, Kannagi is at the top of my list too. It was a big disappointment that Bandai did not do so, since their announcement of Kannagi managed to overtake almost all other news at Otakon. Whether they had the budget at the time to do so at the time is another question.

Sentimental Journey is the other item I really wanted a dub for that was licensed and release in North America. I also wanted a dub of Kara no Kyoukai.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the reason was because Kannagi is one of those "slice-of-life" types of love comedies. Toradora! was another show that didn't get a dub - either because it was a budget decision, or that those types of shows aren't popular with dub fans... Not quite sure.

Incidentally, I was surprised that Kobato didn't get a dub, considering it was a Clamp show. There didn't seem to be too many shows by Clamp that lacked an English track.

Would've been nice, but I'm still buying it on DVD.

Toradora was released by NIS in their initial group of licenses, so I was not surprised at all they did not dub it. Even after a couple rounds of licenses, NIS is still releasing sub-only releases, which is probably a good sales strategy for them, though not necessarily for the viewers...

IMHO, Kannagi was a victim of the very tight budgets Bandai was going through that year and still is, to a certain extent. Given Bandai's move into sub-only releases for some licenses in the last couple years, Kannagi probably would have still be released sub-only even if the budget had been available - the non-availabilty simply meant there was no chance at all.

I wish Katekyo Hitman Reborn was dubbed. It has a pretty large fanbase and with a bit of editing could even get on TV.

Seconded about the Naruto Find the Crimson Four Leaf Clover OVA. The UK release had a sub-only version too, if only it had a dub.

I really wanna see One Piece: Strong World dubbed asap, however part of me also wishes that Funimation waits to allow Franky and Brook's VA to get a bit of practice before taking on the movie.

I know the OVAS were dubbed, but I don't believe the two anime series were dubbed. I'd be even happy if it were subbed and came to DVD in R1.

Gurren Lagann movies are probably my biggest ones. I also wish Basquash would get licensed and dubbed. Plan to Eradicate the Saiayans is another good one I didn't think about. Also the YYH movies and OVAs.
