Default Episode 1

- What's this they are fighting? That's an unusual kind of ladybug.
- Leviathan really misses her big brother.
- Levi goes into beast mode, and casts a water pillar. And something is caught in it.
- It's a fairy named Syrop, asking Levi for help as some monsters are about to cause havoc.
- Syrop has a huge appetite. She finished off three loaves of bread much bigger than her so quickly, yet she is still starving.
- Bahamut is messing with some "bad guys" as Syrop says they are.
- It's a tavern fight. Levi couldn't get to enjoy her tea, Jorgumand didn't get to eat her beef bowl, and Bahamut's pudding is splattered.
- Time for introductions.

Well, the characters in this show are interesting to say the least. The first episode was alright, and Gonzo did a good job with the animation. I think I will watch a little bit more of this before making a decision.

The first completely new Gonzo series in four years. And unsurprisingly, it's certainly nothing special. I had to check it out and see what it was like, but it's looking like a pretty likely drop candidate. Not quite yet, though, so we'll see how things go.

That was cute. Didn't really amount to much, but it amused me.

Really liking how much Hayami Saori we're getting this season, and Hanakana was pretty great Syrop.

Episode 1:

- I'm not expecting much from this but it makes a pretty good first impression with cute designs, a decent OP, and Hayami Saori~
- Oh yeah this was the seiyuu orgy. Hayami, Taketatsu, Kitamura, Hanazawa. Nice.
- Heh this is such a low budget show, but it's pretty cute. Hayami makes an adorable sleepyhead and Hanazawa is just THE HANAZAWA.
- Man, Hanakana is having so much fun in this role. Listening to her makes these totally generic events a lot more fun.
- Not a super inspiring fight scene.

Whether I finish this will be a question of how far great seiyuu can take it, since it's obviously not exactly a top notch show. But it's reasonably cute.

Default Episode 2

- Syrop has snuck into Bahamut's bed as a recruitment drive.
- Bahamut wants no part of it. Just leave everything to father. Today's a busy day for him.
- The tavern is back up and running, and Levi is a waitress. No, you don't serve water to customers using magic.
- Bahamut is out and about, and gets stuck in the swamp. Syrop is getting help from her father.
- Levi ruined the tavern, so Jor can't get her beef bowl. And in comes Syrop, so she doesn't get her father after all.
- No, Jor. Throwing the axe won't work. And Levi's staff is just a bit too short.
- Swamp is a lake. So Levi's water magic is put to use here. Bahamut is covered in mud, but she is out.
- And an earth dragon awakes.

This was just as dumb an episode as I would come to expect. Pretty much Bahamut is this spoiled, rich girl who is about to get a lesson one way or another given her way of thinking. I'm guessing here that with the dragon having awakened that her father comes to the rescue and saves the day, but dies in the line of duty, prompting her to take on the task of defending the world against the invaders. In any case, I'm about ready to stick a fork in this series considering that there are so many other shows this season that are better than this.

That Gonzo CG. I feel like they're trying to blend it with the 2D animation more by giving it a flatter feel, but I still think it's pretty damn ugly.

And yeah, quite dumb all around. Syrop is a very fun character, but not enough to hold this series together for me.

This show is remarkably mean to its characters.

Also, weren't Leviathan and Jormungandr like...naked there at the end? Since their scales were showing and all...

I think Syrup is actually some sort of elder god that consumes everything she comes in contact with.

Episode 2:

- HanaKana fairy in her underthings. Too cute.
- Heh, Bahamut has a fetish for feeding fairies.
- "You're sinking." Haha, Syrop (why not Syrup?) is going to stretch this out as much as possible.
- Heh, she clearly just considers this an annoying diversion. Mendoukusai~
- Poor Bahamut. Trapped in mud and only idiots available to help.
- That's one ugly cgdragonbugthing.

Yep, that was a show. OP and ED are pretty nice though.

Default Episode 3

- It turns out the dragon, Yurlungur, is hurting from within. Way to go, Jor, for throwing that axe without thinking.
- As for who should go, Levi will do it. Jor is taking responsibility, and Bahamut just doesn't want to be left alone.
- Into the dragon they go with Syrop translating. They come across two holes. Let's check the bottom one.
- They slip and end up at the lungs. Wrong way, and they slip and fall again, this time through the esophagus.
- These girls are hungry, they could eat a piece of Yurlungur. But they will settle for barley tea, pudding, and beef bowl.
- So the real culprit are those bugs in his fourth stomach. Bahamut, those fire blasts are only hurting the dragon.
- Time for Levi to work her magic, with only a jug of barley tea. Those small fries are no match for her, but the big one...
- Barley tea slash! And Jor's axe is inside that bug. With that, Yurlungur has become an ally.

That episode was pretty silly considering that I thought that the girls were going to be in trouble, but it turns out that it was just the dragon calling for help after Jor did something stupid for tossing that axe like that. Well, I was planning to call it quits the last episode, but I decided to give it one more since the second episode ended on a cliffhanger (and a rather dumb one at that). So with that, I am done watching this.
