Time wasting episode, but not in an unpleasant way. Stress is starting to get to Leorio as everyone's personalities grate against each other.

Almost had the first post for once! Missed it by 2 minutes...

Episode 10:

-Oh, right, this is the episode where Kurapika's being a little bitch.
-And now so is Leorio...
-Tonpa makes an interesting point about the majority rules and the hand raising. And has a creepy a face.
-Heh... Up, down, left, right... can't escape the blades... Now where have I seen this before...
-Head popping off is cool, but I wish something would have sprayed out of the neck
-Cool. That was the first eye catch since the beginning that I actually liked.

This episode covered chapter 19 and most of chapter 20.

EDIT: Something I thought of at the time but forgot to mention... that guy Hisoka fought was really weak. And he was an examiner for the last exam? Either they didn't say that in the old series or I just didn't notice it, but I think it's really weird that someone as weak as that (and apparently even weaker at the time) would be in the same position as Satotz or Menchi...

Episode 10:

- Ohhh right. Not updating the win number was completely intentional. Forgot about that. A deathmatch was proposed and he's not dead, and can't surrender if he's unconscious.

- Hisoka! <3 Haha, ends with decapitation. Go go Hisoka.
- Hisoka says: 'Fuck eyecatches!'

- And Leorio gets the spotlight this time. He comes out looking pretty good.

This little battle isn't bad but I'm starting to look forward to getting past it.

Killua is one brutal motherfucker. Sure, that's been very clear for a few episodes, ever since he killed a couple of guys who pissed him off, but I loved the whole exposition about this mass murderer who crushed hundreds of random victims with his bare hands and got almost a thousand years in prison, only for Killua to immediately walk up and casually snatch his heart out of his chest. Then the talk of mass murderers being amateurs, and nothing compared to a former professional like himself. And that his father wouldn't have let a single drop of blood out. Oh boy... I do not want to get on that family's bad side.

-Leorio you suck at gambling. Even if rock-paper scissors is a good craZy idea.

-A sad eyed murder is next. I feel sorry for him already.

-"Let Killua go. He might have a plan." Oh he does. Killing.
-"Really? Okay. The lose is the one who dies." There is logic in what he says.
-"Give it back." AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I would have prefered a Fist of the North Star "You're already dead." But that works.
-Aww he did give it back. Killua is such a nice boy.
-Leorio has the attention span of a fish. "Killua's a killer!" Goes in the waiting room. "Silly kids."

Hooray blood. And boobs too I guess.

man its amazing how slow this show is. kind of discourages me to watch the original series with all the filler it had lol.

but still an awesome episode. can't wait till we get to an actual fight since the shorter ones they've shown have all been pretty good.

Fun episode. Leorio's scenes were hilarious. Woulda sucked for him if she was a man though...

Was kinda disappointed Killua didn;t crush the heart like in the manga and the old series, but this was still pretty brutal. Plus even with the shadow censored decapitation last week it was a toss-up as to whether or not they'd keep the scene in tact. I think they got the message across pretty well for the show's timeslot.

Still plenty of complainers though. I guess some people don;t realize the amount of gore they want kept in the new anime would require it having a late nite time slot (and by extension a 26 episode count).

After watching the episode, that is exactly what I said, although it was "Omae wa mou shindeiru." Awesome.

I was fine with the toning down of this episode. Sure, it would have been awesome to see him crush it, but I think the cutsy giving it back was a nice though instead too. It rounds out Killua's character a bit more.

- Silly show, if you don't show us proof too I won't believe it! Go back and do that right!

- Ohhh... I remember what happens next. And goddamn, could they possibly have made the 5th prisoner look any more like the personification of "child rapist"?
- And Killua maks everyone except Gon shit their pants. Hahaha I love the smirk on his face as he gives the heart back. XD

Giving the heart back was the best part of the episode. It was cute in the most sadistic way.
