Zushi saying he hadn't read the book and that it was his soda was hilarious to me. Probably a highlight among a fairly slow episode after last week got through so much. Or it would have been without that end, anyway. Hisoka being back in the picture and taking a stance against them and their hope to progress further in the tower definitely makes thing more exciting, especially since they have to learn to overcome his aura within three and a half hours. I'm guessing the time will go by a little less quickly than it has been lately, but it should still be interesting stuff, and it shouldn't take too long to see them reach a new level and confront Hisoka.

Super power explanation episode. Eh it was still decent. The fact it was all a fakeout helped. Which kinda means this was filler. Even if it was from the manga. "I have to lie to you about the super secret ability Nen because it is dangerous in the wrong hands." "Oh you're gonna get killed unless I tell you the truth because most people who know Nen are killers. Whoops" Eh still fun.

Plus Hisoka! You can never go wrong by adding Hisoka in my book.

So Gon & Kill are learning Ren & Nen.
That sure are really frightening & powerful techniques.
Hisoka is among the 200's too.
Guess this is when the real fights begin.

Episode 28:

- Oh right I didn't watch the tweaked OP last time. Well, I guess a slight change-up is better than nothing but I don't see why they needed to reuse animation at the end. And after two cour we could get a whole new song...
- Wing is kind of a fuckup, heh. Poor juice can.
- And he liiiiiies! Sorta.

- The 200th floor, where even the receptionist is strong enuogh to overwhelm you with KILLING AURA.
- And the receptionist is Hisoka! ...no wait.
- I like hungover-looking receptionist girl.

Time to level up in three and a half hours.

- Wing is hiding something… Killua notices it. Will Killua be able to make Wing says what he is hiding?
- Still no competition for Gon or Killua.
- They reached the 200s.
- Hisoka!
- Hisoka won’t let them pass…
- Wing is there to teach them the real Nen this time.
- They have to learn Nen before midnight…

-Gon's opponent is a Shyguy on one pegleg. In the ultimate battle of spinning tops! Pegblade let it rip!

Finally Nen fighting. Hooray.

- Hisoka has his own card game to wait.
- “Welcome to the 200s”
- If Gon win one match, Hisoka will accept his challenge. Let’s see.
- They even have 1 hour 24 minutes left to register.
- “A penthouse 1,000 meters above ground.” “But Killua’s house his 3,700 meters above ground” lol I would be curious to see that penthouse...
- First match for Gon is tomorrow. Will he be able to win his first match?

"The real exam is just beginning." Haha, I've been waiting to hear that again. After the bulk of the episode, I didn't think it would end up being as eventful an episode as most have been, despite being plenty good, but then they added that bit at the end with Kurapika to keep things staying exciting, and it works wonders for me. As much as I liked seeing Gon and Killua discover Nen and run into Hisoka again, I was wondering when they were going to get back to addressing the fact that their exam hasn't really ended. So it seems to be connected to learning Nen anyway. That's not surprising. Let's see how long it will take Gon and Killua to realize that the exam isn't over. Not that Killua passed anyway...

-Gon is training the only way he knows how. By taking stupid chances and risking his life in a fight. It's super effective.
-Meanwhile Hisoka has joy spasms watching Gon's fight.

-Bad Gon. your long list of injuries has made Killua worry about you. And made Wing slap you.
-Meanwhile Kurapika is almost killed by an acorn.

The path to Nen mastery is a patient and painful one.

Gon's fight with Gido and his spinning tops was intense.
Seems like that kid really learns fast!
Wing sure is a serious teacher & Killua is a true friend ^^
Loolks like even Kurapika will get a chance to learn more about Nen.
