Holy shit that was fucking amazing! I love Chrollo as much as I hoped I would, and he's got the whole Troupe going crazy in such a beautiful way. Looks like some more of this next time, and with Killua's family and possibly even Kurapika already getting involved. Oh man, they don't take long to bring the epic back. Great stuff. Also, as pissed as I am that the OP has hardly changed, I do appreciate that they have Uvo smiling when the word "smile" is sung in the song.

-Precog mob daughter on the loose. So much the easier for a Spider to snag her.
-Chrollo is such a nice young lad for the head of the most dangerous criminal organization in the world.
-Neon's poetry is enough to make a man cry.

-Alas poor Uvogin. The Spiders shall remember you.
-Neon's prophesy verses are cryptic but dangerously so in the Spider's hands.
-Silly assassin. Following a Spider into a trap is a stupid thing to do.
-"Dear Spiders, Go crazy! Love, Chrollo."
-So sing Uvogin to his eternal rest Chrollo conducts the Spider's in a symphony written in blood and played on the screams of the dying. So beautiful.

The entire Phantom Troupe finally gets to cut lose and have fun. Hundreds die.

Episode 49:

-Oh, I forgot about that. Killua's dad killed one of the spiders. And Hisoka killed another. Those are probably the only 2 deaths before Uvogin... right?
-Wow, Leorio, that's a weird face.
-I don't know what Chuck Norris looks like, so maybe this sounds retarded, but I'm calling that guy Chuck Norris from now on. Whenever I see him, I just think "Chuck Norris".
-Ha ha, so Kurapika's dad and grandpa are here. Surely they at least must be stronger than the Spiders...
-"Uh, it seemed appropriate" lol. Yeah, it kinda did...
-And the rest of the episode was good.

Her sneaking out to an auction was a really bad idea.
Guess she wasn't aware of the danger.
The scariest and best gathered to eliminate the Phantom Troupe.

- Molewoman and other dude, you are bad bodyguards.
- Yaaaaaaay Zoldyck family fun incoming! We're also getting closer and closer to where the first TV series ended.
- Neon is really pretty with her hair down.

Haha goddamn they are too fun. And the song does not match the credits at all.

Episode 50:
Hm, good episode. Almost to the end of the original series now. I just noticed Feitan uses Watashi, rather than Boku or Ore. So maybe it really is female. I hope. And lol Gon sticking his tongue out at Feitan. I wouldn’t do that…

-Lol Chuck Norris looks hilarious with those bags.
-Ha Uvo smiles when it says “you can smile”.
-Oh, I forgot there were other assasins besides the Zoldycks. I really think Silva’s hair looked better in the old anime. I think it was blue… certainly not blonde.
-Hm… the months presumably refer to the Spiders. Chrollo gets that… he knows Hisoka is not on their side…
-Hisoka, why aren’t you participating?
-It should have been cool how the music went through the ED credits, but…. I don’t know.

Well, fuck, that was cool.

I think I’ll try to actually watch this show once a week from now on…

The pre-OP scene does not match the OP at all. Change it already!

It's crazy to see Killua's family be on equal ground with Chrollo in a fight like that, even having the upper hand and putting him on the defensive. And the preview shows all kinds of things that I'm very curious to see.
