I'm getting a little worried about my Haganai volume 1. I had been thinking there weren't any first press versions of this, but its looking like there are. CDJ has pretty much everything other than the disc and box listed as a first press bonus and Amazon.jp basically does the same thing, listing everything in the 【初回生産特典】 section (which is what really worries me, since it seems like sometimes CDJ lists things as first press that aren't actually first press) . And Amazon.jp is out of stock and mine won't ship for several more days because it won't ship until Denpa-teki na Kanojo comes in stock.

I am going to be very, very pissed if I get screwed out of basically everything in the release because of Amazon's shipping policy and what I understand is how they handle reserving items for orders that aren't shipping out yet (i.e. they don't actually have a single volume of Haganai in stock and my copy will be from the next batch that comes in).

Edit: Ugh, the official website also lists everything as First Press. I really hope I'm worrying too much and that its not all actually first press despite what it says, or the batch to refill Amazon will still be the FP version or something.

If it means anything, Maria Holic which is also released by Media Factory listed their BD release of Maria Holic Alive Limited Edition as First Press yet it was just an ordinary Limited Edition release. I only recently got volume 5 and 6 of Maria Holic Alive and it came with everything which was listed as "first press" despite CDJapan saying it didn't have any First Press left.

CDJapan tend to misunderstand what is first press and what is limited edition all the time depending on who is releasing the product. You'll notice that Aquarion Evol's LE is listed as a First Press on CDJapan, too, when it's actually just a normal LE.

Right, CDJ has done that before which is why it didn't concern me when I saw it listed as such months ago and it didn't matter at the time anyway. But with Amazon's new shipping policy, I decided it would be worth double checking, especially after I noticed they were out of stock. It was Amazon listing those things as First Press bonuses (and then the Haganai website) that really worried me.

I've bought Media Factory titles before (Sasameki Koto and Vampire Bund), but those shipped out immediately.

When exactly did you order volume 1?

Oh well...I'm seriously thinking about just skipping the series if this ends up to be the case... Damn... At least I hope we will know for sure... Well, since in April my catching up will be done, I suppose this won't happen again... Still, I will need to be careful on how I order FP stuffs if HitokiriShadow doesn't get it...

Hmm, my bet would be on what Mariya said, except with it being "Temporarily Out of Stock" on Amazon, I really don't know anymore. I put my order in on the 11th (12th in Japan), a day or so before street date, since I have to do monthly orders now. Unless they let it out early - which I doubt - it won't ship until the end of the month with most of the other 10 discs I ordered.

Still, I think we'll get the stuff. I don't think I've ever seen Amazon not ship something they listed, and I think it's externally packaged bonuses we need to worry about more than LE stuff. I'm assuming we'll still get everything it has listed whenever Amazon decides to ship our stuff out.
