So yeah, the DVD has been out for like 8 years and I just bought it a couple of weeks ago. Oh well, having to double-dip so quickly really makes me want to bang my head against a wall for having such horrible timing, but the fact that I'll be able to get it on Blu-ray still makes up for that.

Oh man! I totally want this! I love Matsumoto stuff and Daft Punk is pretty cool as well.

I hope that it is true HD or at least a decent upscale. I bet this was done digitally, though. Thus, it's probably going to be an upscale considering when it was originally released.

Also, this seems kind of expensive considering the length.

The "wrong" audio would be having only lossy (Dolby Digital, DTS) tracks instead of at least one lossless (Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD MA) track. That's why I passed on the US K-On! BDs, Bandai put only a poor-quality 192kbps Dolby stereo track on it.

For lossless don't forget uncompressed LPCM track... which is what the compressed Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio encodes are decoded to for playback anyways.

I am looking forward to this provided the audio is up to par.
