Also, while Yayoi having a boyfriend may be April Fools, I think she may have just gotten a girlfriend.

I think this is the first time I've seen April Fool's Day mentioned in an anime.

Mind Yayoi was adorable. Especially as she gets more and more frazzled as things spiral out of control.

Miyuki really sucks at pretending to dislike her friends.

Haha...Pure Candy is a better Precure than the rest of them. I nearly lost it when she transformed and was smacking the Akanbe around.

Because there's nothing like jumping directly from two episodes of Mirai Nikki into two episodes of Smile Precure! >_>

Episode 8:

- Ahaha oh god yes, they maintain their old voices in their new bodies. That makes it much funnier.
- Candy's voice coming from Miyuki is adorable. And the goofy faces she makes are just hnnnnnnnnngh
- ...This episode is hilarious.
- Nice save, Yayoi.
- All the girls trying to cover for her (and Yayoi looking utterly moritified) is the best part.

- And the old hag goes to a police box to put in a missing item report.
- Henshin... failure!
- Peace threw rock this time! I'm really liking these multi-girl transformations - they edit them together quite nicely, and it works better than the individual transformations do.
- HAhahaha, speaking of transformations... XD
- Cure Sunny, Rolling Attack!

The battle was won. But sadly, Hoshizora Miyuki was institutionalized as mentally disturbed the very next day.

Episode 9:

- Yayoi episode, yessssssssssssss~
- Haha, Yayoi telling lies, this is going to be the best.
- And her lies rapidly spiral out of control. Inner Yayoi is ADORABLE.
- Oh man. Sure, the whole gimmick of this episode is going to revolve around Yayoi being stupidly unable to say, like, 3 words, but it's executed hilariously so far anyway. And inner Yayoi's fretting is the main reason.

- Bwhahaha, Yayoi looks up from an emotional group hug with total desperation on her face.
- At least she was going to try another way to tell them. Even if it didn't work out. Her art is cute.
- XD!! And there's a class going away party. It gets worse and worse.

- Awwww, crying Yayoi makes me sad. ;_;
- Henshin! I'm totally throwing scissors...
- We tied!
- Oh jeeze. Things get harder and harder for Yayoi.
- But she's outed! And has to apologize.
- Aka Oni is so nice to sit back and let them have this adorable moment together.
- Fuck yeah, Yayoi solos the akanbe!

Haha, that was kind of mean, Akane.

Well, that got out of control fast.

It's Akane's turn next time.

While March got the spotlight in the ED this time, I took a look at the last's episodes episode and it's Peace. I love how she fell on her face and then her red nose afterwards.

It's Akane Hino's turn in the spotlight with this episode.

Akane father runs an Okonomayki store where he hurt his back which spends him to the hospital.

We meet Akane's family in this episode, Akane's chubby parents and her younger brother.

Akane decides to take the responsibility of cooking while her dad is recovering in the hospital. Akane has to cook for the Neighbourhood Association President.

The rest of the Precure decides to help out as well.

Akane's younger brother Genki comments that their father uses a special ingredient in his Okonomayki.

Akane's father won't spill the secret, so Akane spends the rest of the show trying to figure out the secret recipe.

Meanwhile Wolfrun is very hungry but gets kicked out restaurants.

We get a new eyecatch Akanbe!

Wolfrun spends three days searching for food with no luck, so he decides to go on the attack.

The Precure Team shows up and most of the team is defeated by the Akanbe (Leaving only Precure Sunny and Precure Beauty to fight.)

Precure Sunny finally figures out the secret ingredient which is passion and spirit in making the perfect Okonomayki and went on defeating the Akanbe.

Akane's father recover just in time to see Akane get approval from the Neighbourhood Association President.

Heh, that went about as expected, but was amusing nonetheless.

I liked how Miyuki and Yayoi were very clearly separated from the RGBCombo, I wouldn't trust those two in the kitchen either.

And Akane's use of Beauty's attack to free herself was good thinking. MORE OF THIS. PLEASE.

At long last, we finally got a HOT SHOWER scene in Precure! I feel so err like ending this joke before I get killed. Seriously, it was an a nice moment. It also, makes me hope even more that we'll get actual combos in the future.

Focusing on Akane was nice, and Nao should be next if the preview is any indication.

Speaking of the preview, it looks like we know which villain they'll use for those type of episodes now.
