So, to clarify, is it or is it not coming out in November? It's kinda hard to tell since it's all lumped together like that, and the Japanese BD release was really recent, too.

I just got a confirmation from S23. The movie is definitely planned for a November release.

That would be on Disney (which could take forever) and not Sentai Filmworks.

Interesting that it's coming so soon. I won't have my copy until Monday or Tuesday. I'm fine with importing it, since ADV's release would clash will all of the other Ghibli films (as far as packaging).

A friend of mine didn't like the movie enough to import it, but maybe he'll go for the domestic release.

Wow, Sentai. You're kind of incredible. I wasn't even sure they'd ever get the Blu-ray rights, much less more quickly than Disney can get them for their many Ghibli titles, and yet here they are, ready to release it right after its Japanese release. I'm really glad I just barely convinced myself not to buy the DVD when the Japanese Blu-ray was announced, even though I wasn't sure they'd get it, or how long it would be if they did. I'm very impressed.

Totoro is getting a BD release in Australia later this year, so maybe the US will get something soon?
