Episode 4:

- Goddamn, Mutta's reaction scene was a masterpiece. So goddamn well played.

- "Is Karen a sadist?" Haha. Buddy is apparently an M...
- Wait why is Mutta acting like he didn't know what happened? And why is Hibito playing along...?
- Okay the drop the facade and we get the three astronauts - and it's an amazing scene.

So good.

The part with Sharon had some touching moments, but honestly it just wasn't gripping me like usual. However, I do think it served as a good bridge, leading out of a Hibito arc and into a Mutta arc with something that connects the two of them.

Then it's back to Mutta, and it's lots of fun. Serika's inner joy from getting pink was hilarious. Too bad the joke about Mutta's color being in Japanese instead of English isn't really translatable.

And we're right off to Houston, ready for a new training arc introducing the finalists from all around the world. So no time skip yet. Should be fairly enjoyable.

Episode 45:

- Blah blah minute and a half of recap, but it's been so good lately I'll forgive it.
- Yay Sharon! It'll be nice to see her again.
- Hahaha oh god, Mutta's parents' reaction. "He fell in a hole or something."
- Hell yeah lunar telescope.

- Green ranger Mutta.
- Oh that's wh "five blues". JAXA uniform get!
- Now to go train in Houston. We should be seeing an influx of international astronauts now. I'm very curious to see how they pace this. It'll be years before Mutta can actually go to space.

Others impressions and proud moments about Mutta and Hibito.
After all those excitements, this was a pretty relaxed episode.
Lots of flashbacks too.
So Mutta finally got his official uniform ^^
Looks like it's time to continue with their training.

I almost thought they would wait next time for the closure of this story. It may have been a little long, but it was quite good so that's fine. Now let's see what will happen next.

Off to Houston! There's a lot before that happens, so the Houston fun doesn't quite begin for the JAXA crew just yet. Lots of Murasaki successfully trolling Mutta, and Mutta having to deal with everyone treating him like a celebrity for being an astronaut, even though he hasn't really done anything yet. The idea of being asked for an autograph when you haven't come up with one is amusing.

It was nice to see Ena's family situation. I love that her parents named their kids by playing shiritori.

Mutta went to the airport dressed as an astronaut.
People definitely noticed that.
Looks like it was just Murasaki's practical joke.
That training instructor looks demanding.
Next stage of training will begin soon.

Yep, looks like we're getting some development for Niita right off the bat. Very vague at this point, but at the very least it appears that he has a younger brother who he has a somewhat complicated relationship with, and we'll surely be learning more about that soon.

So was Amanti an ASCAN, or just a random fortune-teller who happened to be there? Maybe it's unfair to say so, but she didn't quite fit the profile of an astronaut.

I wonder if one of the JAXA group will end up bailing. With that omen, it seems like someone will have to. Obviously it has to be either Ena or Nitta, but it will be a shame if anyone does.

Murasaki really takes his jokes too far sometimes.
Mutta didn't take well new info about the 2 year training.
He's still far far away from being a real astronaut.
Fortune telling part was interesting.
