Episode 7:

- C'mon Mutta, just tell Hibito what happened.
- Animation is a little weird in this episode. Strange unnatural movements and weird pauses between actions and stuff.
- Ahahaha, the fire extinguisher robber we keep hearing about strikes.

You have to wonder when things are going to turn around for Mutta. Perhaps next episode!

Fire extinguisher. The weapon of choice in America. Or at least Texas. The news anchor was really funny. That must be how it is. I'm curious to see how this confrontation goes for Mutta. Will it have some effect on the results of the exam? Maybe he'll do something so impressive that they'll decide he deserves the spot? I really don't know. Obviously in real life he wouldn't have a chance at this point, but something like that needs to work out for the story to progress.

- Yup, that so much Mutta, being jealous of his brother for that reason.
- Time for the second interview. You can do it Mutta!
- Will your picture be next to Hibiko, Mutta?
- I hope you are right Hibiko, I hope you are right.
- Serika wants an autograph of Hibiko and she’s asking to Mutta for it…
- That was not the best answer to that question… Poor Mutta.
- Well, I don’t understand… When Serika asked Mutta to exchange e-mail addresses, he says that he broke his cellphone. But, he still has an e-mail address, right?

- And Mutta is off to the NASA. Well, as a guest, but it’s a start, I guess.

Mutta was hanging out with his brother at the space center.
He was uneasy and bothered by his former boss badmouthing him to JAXA.
Hoshika had problems convincing Tanuma not to drop Mutta from the program.
The fire extinguisher man just had to come to rob that restaurant, wonder how that will affect Mutta's future.

Mutta passes! Of course! Well luck is definitely an important element, so good for him. I was thinking how cruel they were for leaving that mystery at the end there, but then the preview just spoils it anyway. Oh well, I'm alright with it, since I was really curious what it was.

Mutta, the American national hero!
Good thing that robber decide to rob the place when Mutta was there.
The second exam results finally came too. Not much surprise there.
Just one more exam to go. At least he's going home for now.

Well, it was a pretty good episode, nice relation between the brothers.

Mutta sure had an interesting dream on the plane home.
He was pretty out of it since he found his brother's will.
Pretty much obsessing over space related accidents.
The reunion with his fellow applicants was nice.
Just one more exam to go!

- Hibito sure gave the look to Mutta.
- Well, Hibito is quite popular. Even on TV.
- Hibito says it on TV. He knows his brother will pass. How will you react to that Mutta?
- So, Mutta now knows his old boss was talking to JAXA…

Mutta flies back home to Japan with some heavy thoughts weighing on his mind. His little brother is prepared to die, and it's not all that unlikely an event. His parents being so nonchalant about it bothered me a little, maybe mostly because Mutta didn't offer up any kind of reaction that seemed so natural for him to do. In fact, he didn't have any reactions after that point, and just went straight off to watch the ISS, and then that was the focus. If only he knew the ISS was waving to him specifically. As it turns out, his JAXA applicant friends were watching as well, and while Kenji shares his own dream, Serika's is very closely linked to the ISS itself, which may prove to be an impossible dream. That explanation of why seemed very strange as well.
