That's how you make a fishing episode awesome! Yoshimoto sure was amazing... and how could I comment about Yoshimoto without talking about her under-boob... WOW!! Kotarou was quite nice too and she was a character who goes well with Yoshimoto.

So many shows to finish tonight. Hakuouki down, SenColle next, then what else... Nakaimo, Lagrange, Kokoroko (TV), Yurumates, Dog Days, KoiChoco....

Episode 25:

- Underboob-sama returns.
- Sessai is scary.
- Koshimizu Ami's Koutarou is outrageously adorable. I love she way she says "Yoshimoto-sama!". Few seiyuu can do sheer enthusiasm as well as she can.
- Speaking of cute: Yoshimoto's face when she catches a fish. Awww.
- NAKED SPACE FISHING ORGASMS.

Next, the grand finale. The climactic battle! ...maybe.

Episode 26:

- Hahahaha oh my god, that kick to the head. <3 Nobunaga, <3 Kotarou.
- Crappy animation to the max! Haha it's so noticeable how they almost never show scenery while Nobunaga is running arond. It's always shots of the sky above. So much for thinking the last episode, at least, would have some decent action scenes.
- Kotarou abuse is so adorable.
- Mitsuhide time~
- Yeah that was kinda earrrrrrrgh. Dunno why this show pretended it could do an extended action sequence on a budget a doujin group would balk at.
- Oh wow, lovely eyecatch.

- Mitsuhide, just confess your love, damnit! More directly. Nobunaga isn't too bright.
- Who is this girl falling from the... oh my god that has to be Angel. Holy shit.
- All the couples are together, hooray! Shinku and Jun finally reunite! Con woman and sexy blond! Chicken wings from outer space! The boring couple! Ryuubi and the old woman! Kenshin and derpyface!
- And Yoshitsugu. Are they really going to deprive us of that reunion?
- Awwwwwww, Nobunaga and Mitsuhide holding hands <3

Edit: blah, wasn't Angel, nevermind. Annoying.

I'm so happy Angel came back, but oh god I needed more than just the implication that she'll reunite with Yoshitsugu. I so needed to see it even if it makes no sense (but no less sense than the whole show, so why not?). ;_;

Err...as great as that would be, it wasn't Angel, it was Beethoven. (check the credits. srsly)

I checked the credits but they seemed incomplete so I figured they just didn't include her. She sounded the same and had the exact same hair.

And Yoshimoto's outfit is truly ludicrous.

Anyway, so at the end they decide to launch their attack. Clearly next episode will give us an epic final battle that will rival Gurren Laggan's!

Wow, the whole first half of the episode actually was pretty much one long fight scene. And it was pretty good.

Then we get to see all of the characters again in a really long ending montage. And at least one new character was randomly introduced. Literally, out of nowhere and then promptly forgotten about.

Sequel where? Oh. Right.

Anyway, this show needs to be Exhibit A whenever anyone tries to knock a show purely for commercialization and existing to sell something. (Not to mention that whole thing about the anime Golden Ages of the 70s and 80s being almost entirely comprised of toy commercials, but I digress). This show is absolutely brilliant. A shame almost nobody watched it (outside of AoD/FP, I mean).

- Mitsuhide is here to help!
- It was nice to see Nobunaga and Mitsuhide fighting together.
- Mitsuhide doesn’t want to be left behind, doesn’t want to say goodbye… In other words… but that she won’t be able to say.
- Well, at least they have fun together.
- Everyone goes back to their lover or friends! Nice ending.
- Mitsuhide and Nobunaga are holding hands, a step in the good direction.

Oh wait… it was not Angel??? So disappointed…
