Haha oh wow. "Pure Love Angel" indeed.

That was really good. Teh Mamiko as Kenshin and Nakahara Mai as Kanetsugu were nice surprises.

I think Nobunaga's getting frustrated at how easy this is.

But seriously, this episode was HHHHNNNNGGGG

Noto Mamiko! As a blonde lesbian! And she probably won't be date-raping anyone this time.

And she (Kenshin) and Kanetsugu are pretty blatantly in love with each other. For all intents and purposes, they're a married couple.

And the episode was really, really cute. They make an adorable couple and the thing with Kanetsugu's vision was a nice touch, even if it didn't amount to a whole lot and has been done better before (in particular, Touka Gettan comes to mind).

Also, Nobunaga's thrust was a blatant Utena homage/reference/whatever.

Yeah, she made it pretty clear she was disappointed she wasn't going to get a fight out of them. She slumps when they tell her to just take them and she was clearly trying to goad them into fighting when she told them that collecting all of them would allow them to return.

One Eyed Dragon Date Masamune.

And...it becomes a women's prison show. How odd.

Anyway, glad that Masamune didn't just hand over her treasure, that would have made no sense. And yay she wants to find Kojuurou.

Did you notice how happy Nobunaga was when she realized she wasn't going to have it handed to her? About time.

Episode 3:

- Nakahara Mai and Noto Mamiko! Yaaaaaay! But man Kanetsugu's face looks derpy. Like, least detailed faces ever. Art in general looks like it reverted to ep 1 levels. C'mon Brains Base. Oh well, this show is gonna sell about 2 copies a volume so I guess there was no incentive to give it a budget.
- Oh this is good. Kenshin walks in on Kanetsugu in the shower. Kenshin takes Kanetsugu's "pointing at her face" motion as an invitation to a kiss and goes right in for it. I EXPECT GOOD THINGS. DON'T LET ME DOWN!
- Yay, Keshin is getting Kanestugu drunk. Now make out!
- Silly Kanetsugu. Forget conquest. Just make love to Kenshin. Even in grayscale that's gonna be good.
- Kiss, damnit! ::shakes fist::
- I wonder if Nobunaga is ever going to have to fight for one of these treasures, heh. And things ought to be easy if she gets back to the past and none of the major figures are left. Easiest conquest ever.

- A new cute girl added to the show. She is adorable as well. Who is she?
- Oops… it’s not that singer anymore on the screen.
- Her name is Ieyasu. ^_^
- She wants to be an idol! That would be wonderful.
- And Ieyasu practices to be an idol. Wow, this show really took a direction I would not have guess and it’s the best direction possible.
- Have confidence Ieyasu, I’m sure you can be an idol too.
- She has back-up dancers. I’m gonna love this.
- Ieyasu is a big it already. Wow!
- Yeah, I was expecting that reaction from Rosary…
- I was scare that the Rosary reaction would discourage Ieaysu, but I like her answer to her: “Then you have to follow your own path. I’m going to keep on being the top idol!”
- Nobunaga took the secret weapon of Ieaysu. Ieyasu won’t be able to go back to her world, but she wants to stay on this one.

What a fantastic episode that was. I can’t wait to watch more.

Episode 4:

- So uh, Date Masamune joins the yakuza then gets thrown in prison.
- Kojuuro is hot.
- Ahahaha, kemonomimi-miko are in jail too. And having fun.
- Oh hey, someone who was willing to fight back.

So uh... I guess that wasn't very interesting. It wasn't badly done, it just wasn't the sort of story I'm watching this for. If it's SenColle, I prefer silly fluffy shit with lesbians and idols and Nobunaga.

But man are they completely changing character designers from ep to ep or what? Masamune's character art was a miiiiiiillion billion times better drawn than the utterly derpy looking Kanetsugu. This is so weird.

And Nobunaga finally meets someone who doesn't just hand over their Treasure. But alas, their fight will have to wait for another day.

It was a Bowling for Columbine parody. What the fuck Japan!?

I mean, it was funny, but still, bizarre. How much of this show's (admittedly merely theoretical at this point) audience would even GET the joke?

Also, we met no fewer than four Samurai, including the actual star of the episode, Bokuden, and Nobunaga didn't show up at all.

- Kenshin is hungry…
- Kenshin sure got the wrong idea… Kanetsugu was trying to tell her she had a grain of rice on her face…but Kenshin thought Kanetsugu wanted a kiss. ^_^
- But, afterwards Kanetsugu tell herself “Maybe I shouldn’t have pushed her away” Oh! This is looking good.
- Kanetsugu don’t be like a mom, be like a girlfriend.
- They fall in the bed… but nothing happened. So close!
- Nicely said Kenshin. Kanetsugu literally flies to you. You know what need to be done now, right?
- Nobunaga gets the secret treasure easily once again.

The kiss…why there was not one? Why? It was another great episode.
