Episode 5:
God this show is so weird. Bokuden is cute though, and I need more Yoshiteru.

So people know about the Samurai now- Makes it more interesting going forward
Good episode, like usual nothing great but not terrible like some of the earlier episodes This anime gets better by small increments every week so I'm hoping when it gets done with intros its gonna be consistently good Last edited by something : 05-08-2012 at 05:31 PM. |

The first half of this episode was very weird to watch, even after you realized it was a "documentary".
Bokuden-chan is very cute though. And Yoshiteru was fun. Also, Ieyasu is having a concert! And the Miko-animal girls are still her backup dancers. I want to see that concert!

It's like a producer was handed free money for a show they knew was going to be a sales disaster, so they just went nuts and sort of experimental with it. Generic harem in one ep, Idolmaster in the next, then a yuri romance (I guess? I'm not sure how to classify that one), then a yakuza revenge flick, then a documentary.....

On the other hand I wonder if this is also one of those compu gatcha games like iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls that's potentially about to get hit with some major regulations for the rip-off, gambling-like business model that's employed. I haven't seen SenColle mentioned in those stories so it might be different.

Well, if someone ever needs a Hirano Aya impersonator, Kudou Haruka would do in a pinch.
Anyway, decent episode. Gennai was ok. And this is the second episode in a row with no Nobunaga.

Well, that was not so interesting especially after episode like the idol one and the lesbians’ one.

Wow. That was...really sweet.
Basho always speaking in 5-7-5 was pretty cool, though I do not envy the translator. And Nobunaga finally appears again, though Basho's decision was rather obvious.

Basho is very cute and her haiku-rhythm is one of the most unique speech trait I've heard anime. The scriptwriter deserves a bonus for writing her lines.
Brains Base shows again that they're very good at putting quirky characters together. This was like part Kurenai and part Durararara |
