Default Episode 12

Truth & Naru. They make an interesting pair.
Ao & crew in space. That was kinda cool to see.
That Truth sure can be really unique in his behavior.
So far, he is the most interesting character.
Scub Coral in space?! Now that's something new.
Some more interesting facts about Ao & his origin.
Awesome episode!!

This time, Team Pied Piper goes into space and meet up with Team Harlequin. It turns out that Ao had been kicking butt because he can see Trapars, which normal human beings can't see. But in space, there are no Trapars, but he did not need them, anyway. Then there is a Scub Coral nest that was blasted and sent on a crash course along with the Nirvash, but then appearing at long last... Eureka! Along with the Gekkostate. And Naru also appears along with Truth, and apparently he is on good terms with Ao for now until the time comes when he needs to see the truth. Turns out that Truth might be the son of someone named Johansson.

After a string of monster-of-the-week episodes, this one is probably the last of them, and one where it transitions from that territory to an entirely different place. Now that Ao and Eureka have been reunited that things are going to be much different. And it looks like the top brass at GB is up to something, and the smuggler trio senses that they are hiding something (and whatever it is, that's the reason why Truth attached the GB headquarters). There is a lot to look forward to now that the story is finally moving forward, and that Ao is back with his mother. And then there is the connection between Naru and Truth that has yet to be explained. I am thinking that it will be something down the lines of the one between Anemone and Dominic.

That Eureka girl sure was interesting.
Her world seems to have the opposite viewpoint of scub corals.
Flashback to the past was really interesting and explained a lot.
Looks like his mom did some time traveling.
Ao sure snapped at Gazelle.
Guess he really missed his mom a lot.
Truth interfered again.

Naru seems to be dealing with a whole other dimension of things than Ao.
I still don't quite get how & why she has a special connection to Scub corals.
The fight with Truth was pretty awesome.
Nirvash fighting on its own was an interesting sight.
Things are going in an interesting direction.
Looks like Ao is the enemy now... humans sure are twisted beings.
Nothing is as it seems.
This sure was an interesting and intense episode.

Ao finally meets up with mother, except it's not exactly Eureka. It's a past version of her from when she was pregnant. So it's their priority to send her back to her proper time. But that's going to be tough to do with the Japanese and Okinawan forces in pursuit and with Truth attacking.

That was quite an episode there with Ao meeting a past version of Eureka while the real Eureka from the present is still out there somewhere. And now, Ao and Truth are squaring off. And then there is something saying that the Secret are not the enemies.

FLOW! Going back to them for the final OP of the franchise (probably) is a great choice. Of course, FLOW is always a great choice, but the extra reason for it makes it even better.

For the second half, they're making up for lost time and really trying to connect everything in this story to everything in the original Eureka Seven. As a result, the pacing feels as off as ever, but in the opposite way. I was waiting for a lot of this for a lot of the early parts of the series, but now that they've gotten to it, it feels a little too late and kind of sloppy. Still, it's exciting enough and my curiosity hasn't just disappeared, so I can't say I'm not extremely interested in what will happen next. They definitely know how to keep you wondering. It probably would have been better for connections to be made to the original series earlier on to let this story stand on its own and make you care about it for what it is, but instead I kind of feel the opposite about the series. I like that it's giving me the Eureka Seven connections I wanted all along, but I know I should be caring about it as its own story at this point instead of just dwelling on the past.

But FLOW, so whatever.

Ao's bad dream about Naru was not far from reality at all.
Those medical examinations were a nice cover for inspecting if someone was infected by scub coral.
Ao & sleeping pills. Things are really started to affect him.
Japanese government playing around with Secret.... dangerous.
Re-awakened scub coral sure was bad news for Ao.
Seems like Secrets are getting smarter... and harder to deal with.
Some really interesting information came to light.
Looks like Secrets really are Earth's immune system.

So Eureka returns to her own dimension after their battle against Truth where her Nirvash started to have a mind of its own. And it turns out that unborn child is not Ao since it is a girl. And then the Japanese government is up to no good, trying to exterminate Ao for killing an officer.

From how this episode played out, I am thinking that Naru is that child the Eureka that was sent back is carrying. And then there is Nakamura, who I think is the main villain of this show. He uses so many sneaky tactics and other things to get rid of Ao, and then destroying the Secrets to be used for military power. Things are getting really intense from hereon out.

Christophe lets the cat out of the bag. Looks like their plan may be reaching its final stage soon. Didn't expect that so far from the end.

The plan to destroy Secrets.
I must admit it's somewhat confusing who the real enemy is.
Seems like Naru had plans of her own..
Ao had interesting dreams.
Looks like he's slowly doubting.
Nirvash pulled an interesting transformation of quartz.
Seems like more than that happened, a lot more.
Can't say I'd ever expected something like that.
Maybe an alternate universe thing?
This was a pretty intense episode.
