HMV just broke some news, so I thought it was time we had a Saki CD thread.

Today, April 25, is the release date of the Achiga Ending theme song CD. Not only does it contain the title track Square Panic Serenade (used as the standard ED), it also contains the "serious ending" theme Futuristic Player and a remixed version of Square Panic. Retails for 1,200.

On May 16, the OP, Miracle Rush by Stylips, will go on sale in LE (+ DVD) and RE editions. 1,800/1,200 yen. It contains the OP and two other tracks: Honey Groove and Hatsukoi Evolution.

Previously, a drama CD was released back in March. It details a story where the girls had to take part-time jobs to repair the automatic mahjong table.

Just now HMV tweeted that each of the 5 Achiga girls will have their own character song singles. Two will come out on June 20 with the remaining three on July 4. I'll update when more information is available.

Well that means there'll be a Yuki Aoi and Hanazawa Kana songs, so that means I'll have to buy their respective discs.

Other than that I have the OP theme, Miracle Rush by Stylips on preorder. I really fell in love with that song after one listen, there's something about it which makes me really happy. Plus there's a segment in the song where it sounds a little like Bouken Desho Desho? by Hirano Aya, and that's good.

I would of gotten the ED but I misread the BD info and thought it was coming with the BD's, but that's every other ED if I recall correctly, kinda similar to Inu x Boku SS and Nisemonogatari's OPs. I'll get it eventually, but I vastly prefer Miracle Rush over it.

The ED single for Achiga contains both EDs that will be used in the series. The special CD that comes with BD volume 1 is the Achiga cast singing the two ending songs from the first series that featured the Kiyosumi cast in SD form (Netsuretsu Kangei Wonderland and Shikakui Uchuu de Matteru yo). It's not like Nise where the only way to obtain an OP/ED is to buy the Blu-rays.

Edit: I found another listing that detailed the character song artists. Vol. 1 and 2 (released on June 20) will feature Shizuno (Yuuki Aoi) and Ako (Touyama Nao). Volumes 3, 4, and 5 (released on July 4) will feature Kuro (HanaKana), Yuu (MAKO), and Arata (Yumi Uchiyama).

No. The only extra disc was a DVD that came with the first volume's LE. The other extras were booklets and daimakura covers.
