Question Bleach Omnibus volumes discontinued?

I wonder if Vis decided to not continue to release Bleach in omnibus editions?
Volume 1 came out in June of 2011.
Volume 2 was only two months later, in August of 2011.
Volume 3 came out after another two months in October of 2011.
There has been no solicitation, or any mention that I know of, for a volume 4. If there ever is a volume 4 it will be released at least 15 months after volume 3.

I bought the singles for the first three volumes and enjoyed them enough that I decided to continue reading at least through the "Rescue" story arc, which is what I have seen of the anime so far. I decided to get the omnibus editions after that because they are cheaper (I have ordered, but not yet received, the second and third omnibus editions). Now I guess that I will have to switch back to the singles starting with volume 10.

For now I am going to assume that Viz will not continue the omnibus editions, and even if they did continue I do not want to wait 6 months or more to continue the story.
But it would still be nice to know what they are going to do. I wonder how many times that has been said.

Maybe an answer:

When I asked about naruto they said they would end at three volumes. it was promotional. It's mainly to get someone hooked on them for cheap, and then switch to more expensive singles (he got it from Twitter, but doesn't link to it)

That seems like a reasonable possibility.
I will continue to assume that there will be no more omnibus volumes for Bleach and just buy the singles.

Thank you for the information, Damius.

I believe that Ultra Maniac was not edited.
There were some questionable choices in the adaptation, such as having Nina say "Spamola!" when she cast a spell, but no edits.

If you search the Manga Editing forum you will find quite a few posts about Viz editing in general and Ultra Maniac specifically.
I am pretty sure that several people looked for edits in Ultra Maniac and were not able to find any.

For those wondering the VIZ industry panel at Otakon was just a rehash of AX/SDCC announcements and updates. Nothing new was revealed.

One of Viz best selling series is ending in japan:

Not sure how many chapters there are not yet compiled in volumes but it should end at volume 17/18.

Actually I have the same impression, I'm not reading black bird but a lot of the series I was reading ended this year. (air gear, bakuman, negima...) Not sure if this is coincidence or not though.

Talking about what I know the most (shonen stuff). Jump changed this year a lot more than usual. Weekly Shounen Magazine clearly is having a refresh in the lineup.

Somewhat big news:

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...-in-14-volumes

It's unconfirmed but french publishers know their stuff. (manga market in France is probably the second biggest in the world).
So Eva should end in volume 14! with 13 coming out this year, we will still be waiting until god knows when for the last one though.

Just a guess but it should be before or in the same time frame of 4.0 max.
