Crunchyroll to Stream Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan” Anime

Deck the halls! A new anime is joining the Crunchyroll line-up just in time for Christmas. Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan” (which translates to “My Little Sister is an Osaka Momma”), begins tonight for premium members Fri/21 at 8pm Pacific Time. Free members will be able to watch it one week later on Fri/28. The show page will be up shortly at www.crunchyroll.com/osakaokan

It's that time again, where we start revealing just what's coming your way this upcoming season! To kick things off, Crunchyroll will be streaming comedic short, Boku-no-imoutowa"Osaka-okan", which translates to "My Little Sister is an Osaka Mamma" in English. So just when is it starting? TONIGHT! That's right, the first episode of Boku-no-imoutowa-"Osaka-okan" will be available to Premium users tonight, December 21, 2012, at 8:00pm PST. Free users will be able to catch episode 1 next week at the same time. (*Please note that episode 2 will be available 2 weeks after initial broadcast, due to Japanese broadcast times)

Boku-no-imoutowa"Osaka-okan" will be available to Crunchyroll's audience in the following territories: North America and Central America, Caribbean, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, South America, and Latin America.

Right, but I was under the impression that specials broadcast outside the original timeslots (say the Fate/Zero recaps) would not be streamed from the original contract. They would have to sign a new contract for new episodes. Perhaps that's why we may not see the final Kokoro Connect and Girls und Panzer episodes on Crunchy.

In other anime-related news, Crunchyroll is also excited to announce that we will be showing the continuing episodes of Saki Episode of Side A! Up first is episode 13, which will be airing for Premium members December 24, 2012, at 7:30am PST. As usual, free members will be able to view it one week later, at the same time.

As for another continuing title, GIRLS und PANZER has unfortunately been delayed in Japan, and so Crunchyroll will resume streaming the series once it starts back up in Japan. However, there's still episode 10.5 to look forward to next week and tide you over until the girls of Ooarai Academy return!

Finally, with the holidays coming up, both here and in Japan, there will be some schedule changes to continuing simulcasts. Below are the list of titles whose times have been changed in accordance with their Japanese schedules:
