- Mifuyu just passed out… I feel bad for her now…
- Ok…Mifuyu is back…will she have enough time now…? Run, Mifuyu, RUN!
- Unfortunately, she was not on time… What speech he will give now?
- Oh… he falls on stage…and yeah all the sheets are on the wrong order now…
- And what an awesome way he found to answer the situation!
- Mifuyu’s document…is now safe in her hands. That sure was close.
- They sure take their time on the votes counting… but that is for the best since… suspense.
- Let’s all hold each other hand…it will be easier to wait… ^_^
- And he passed! His speech sure worked.
- A donation to help them! Thanks to both of them.
- Banzai!

That sure was a really good episode!

Default Episode 8

This has to be the strangest camping trip I've seen in anime lately - mainly because the camp is on campus of the school.

Hazuki is such an awesome side-character...unbelievable riot. I love how she can tear open a bottle with her teeth and just the fun ways she acts (I'm surprised she goes from drunk to stone sober very quickly).

Chisato really has it bad for Oojima. Damnit! There's a girl who's flinging herself onto you and you do nothing! He explains himself and it's a pretty heartbreaking scene for her. ::sigh:: I watched that scene one too many times already. I still have to wonder if he really meant what he said at the end or he just explained it in a way that she took wrong - maybe he does truely love her.

Anywho...while I was sighed and was a little frustrated before the break, the episode after the break really makes the episode shine.

Family info dump of the Shinonome family courtesy of Hazuki. At first it was tough to watch because Satsuki was hurting, but then it really turned for the better. Absolutely fantastic that everything was let known about the past. It was beautiful seeing the two sisters really get close and make up since their relationship was strained at best throughout the series so far.

Great episode - mainly the second half, but the first half was good too.

Oojima stuck with Shinonome.
Those sister really are polar opposites of each other.
On second thought, they are more alike than it seemed.
Looks like it's dirty laundry airing time..
This was one weird episode.

WTF this episode.

Chisato basically throwing herself at Oojima, then the whole Shinonome family drama. What the hell.

There weren't a ton of Chisato scenes this time around, but seeing her cute/jealous was nice. Sad not so much. Bakajima. You're supposed to go imouto and then proceed to osananajimi if there is no imouto. You made Chisato cry!

As far as the Shinonome family stuff goes, I'm sure it would be a very moving, touching scene in the game with a proper build up and background. As it was, it felt very out of place given the story so far and the tone of the anime... Well, there was the bullying incident and the hit and run, neither of which have been revisited. It was interesting just... not able to make me cry.

Episode 8:

- Ero shougi!
- What the hell did Hazuki-sensei just rip a twist cap off a bottle with her teeth? Without twisting it? How the hell do you do that?
- Michiru seees you!

- Poor Bakeru-kun.
- Ouch. I want to say "damn you Yuuki!" for shooting Chisato down, but I actually think it's refreshing that he's so clear about it. I still want her to be the one, though. She fits so well with him.

- Huh. Hazuki actually seems kinda serious about wanting to be in Yuuki's pants. I wonder if she has a route in the VN.
- And now she's openly challenging her sister for Yuuki.
- Damn Hazuki is harsh with Satsuki. And it seems entirely unfair too. Satsuki doesn't seem to have done anything wrong to her.
- Ah, two different mothers. That would explain Hazuki's problems with the family, but taking it out on Satsuki is so childish.
- Then they start playing mental shougi because why not?
- Okay not two different mothers. So what's the problem?
- Oh. That was making no fucking sense for a while but I listened to the explanation again and now I get it. They have the same biological mother and father, but Hazuki was born before their father actually married their month and Satsuki was born after so only Satsuki is "legitimate".

That ended up being pretty sweet, even if it should have been Hazuki apologizing to Satsuki at least as much as the opposite.

Chisato is in an interesting situation. How often is the "main promo art girl" in a harem anime just outright told by the protagonist that he does not have feelings of romantic love for her? In episode 8? It was said so clearly and sincerely too, without the usual not-funny "comedic misunderstandings" you'd expect.

But if not her, then who? Satsuki and Mifuyu's arcs are over already, so we've got Michiru (doubt it!) and Isara (possibly). Well, Chitose's story remains too but something would have to happen to profoundly change Yuuki's mind.

Maybe it's Yumeshima after all! =D

Just a little bit more complicated than that. In perception, both Satsuki and Hazuki are seen as legitimate as their family "knows" they were born to the wife at the time. In reality, Hazuki is an illegitimate child who was adopted by the wife, but that shouldn't be a problem. The problem lies in Hazuki not being willing to accept that her mother was not the person who gave birth to her. She feels that if she acknowledges that, her mother was essentially useless now that the woman who gave birth is officially in the family. It's the old thought that if you can't produce a heir, you're useless.

Of course, I personally don't feel this way, but that's how it's seen in the series IMO.

After much thinking and discussion elsewhere, one way I figured you can read Yuuki's statement is (due to what he just said before) "I'll always be there for you, but I don't have to be your lover to do so."

She's still in the running though even though right now Satsuki probably has the lead.

- Oh, they went back to the chocolate issue in the Pre-Op we know a little more about it now.
- Yeah, Chisato's little brother died… Poor Chisato… ;_;
- Chisato and Yuuki taking a bath together? Awesome!
- “Don’t you want to touch me?” “Don’t you want to look at my naked body?” You can’t refuse now Yuuki…
- Boo…. Yumeshima… he sure has a really bad timing…
- Hmm… we have some more of Satsuki and Hazuki… I hope they will go back to this soon.
- Yuuki has to go with Hazuki to her room…
- Of course. A girl sees Yuuki and yells pervert. Run for your life Yuuki.
- Well, it’s good… Satsuki saves him. But she has questions.
- So what she wants him to do in return?

This show is really good.
