Man, when I saw that Iori lived in a shitty two-story apartment, I was like "of course she lives in one of those!", since its the Japanese equivalent of a trailer park, and Iori and her mom are clearly Japanese Trailer Trash.
I wonder if there's a term for that? You'd expect to see them on the Japanese version of COPS.

Episode 13:
- Taichi, there were ways to get out of that situation without doing exactly what Heatrseed #2 warned you not to do. >_> I know Inaban is scary, but she's not completely irrational. Just saying "Trust me, something happened but I can't tell you anything about it" should be enough. Even if Inaban pushed, the others would be able to hold her back. - Now it's truly random, not just the effect, but the timing. - Iori time! So far, this episode feels really good - I just wish there were more time. Aoki and Yui needed more, but Iori deserves more too. We're finally getting to the root of her issues, but only have an episode for it. - Ouch, talk about bad timing. Nice save, Taichi. - And there's Heartseed. #1. He just ended #2's unauthorized scheme (in theory, faking two of them could just be part of his plan). I'd reallllllly love to know what's going on behind the scenes there. - And he offers to send Iori to the past. Great great scene follows where Inaban and Taichi offer their support as Iori is wavering. - As for dealing with Iori's dad - hmmmmm. It was kind of funny, but I'm not sure if funny is what I wanted there. This episode did such a great job of building up Iori's issues and her acceptance of everything that's happened, and then they're just like "lol whoops guess we should have talked about it - this is easy to fix!" that leaves me feeling kinda torn. - Very interesting epilogue-monnologue from Iori. That should give us a hint of what to expect from Michi Random. I also like that she's actually thinking about it. Does she actually love Taichi? A good question to settle before getting serious! Man. What to say about this show? I feel like when it's really on its game, it's top notch. But being two cour (including Michi) would have been an incredible boost to the series. Kako should have been twice as long, for sure. Kokoro Connect does a lot of things better than most other shows. But it's because it does some things so well, that its stumbles stick out more. I guess it would be fair to describe it as "uneven" and at times "rushed". The concept is great, and the execution was sometimes or even often great, but not always. There's a discernible difference between a show that exudes greatness usually, and shows that exude greatness constantly, as if it's just encoded into their DNA. Kokoroko doesn't jump quite into that top tier. Definitely still importing it, and am excited for Michi Random. But I think it finishes up in fourth place for the season, whereas it once held first. This was an ambitious show, and it needed near perfection to fulfill that ambition and become a favorite. It didn't quite get there, but I'm still really glad I watched it.

Fourth? Which are in your top 3? I rank KC pretty high so I'd be curious to know. I'm guessing YY, Jintai and?

https://twitter.com/kokoroco_anime/s...83543788904448 Michi Random will receive an advance screening at a Kokoro Connect event. No details on when this event will be held. The MAL post detailing this also states: "episodes 14 - 17 will be first shown at a live event, followed by the Blu-ray releases in March and April." This implies that there will be no internet streaming of Michi Random - and we won't get it for another half of a year. However, unless there is a separate uncited source, I don't think we have explicit confirmation from that tweet alone that there will be no web streams. But if there won't be, well, see you in 6-7 months...

1) Yuru Yuri♪♪ or Dog Days' 2) Dog Days' or Yuru Yuri♪♪ 3) Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita 4) Kokoro Connect Dog Days' and Yuru Yuri♪♪ are so close, meaning it all comes down to the final ep of the former. I think Yuri Yuri♪♪ has the slight edge though.

Maybe I should watch YY♪♪. I never did cause I didn't watch the first season, but maybe I should. Didn't bother with DD' either to be honest. I liked Jintai a lot and Joshiraku would have ranked higher if it hadn't "forced" me to google shitloads of references :]
Probably 1) Jintai 2) Kokoro Connect 3) Tari Tari ..that is without having watched YY♪♪ and DD' though. Sorry for derailing the thread a bit. Last edited by Nico87 : 09-30-2012 at 05:22 AM. |

So, in this episode Inaban issues will be fixed. Let’s see.
- Yeah… Taichi, you should not make fun of Inaban…when she is holding a knife! - Poor Fujishima, she won’t be able to grab the grain of rice on Iori’s cheek. - Iori goes to Inaban, thanks for being Iori and she realizes that Inaban likes Taichi. - Inaban, ran away… you really need to catch her, Iori. - And she catches her; Iori was staying calm before her episode… - And it makes, Inaban cry, but at least she speaks her thoughts. - “I want to always be your friend! Please, let me be your friend!” Oh, Iori. - And Inaban's answer: “I aways wanted to hear someone say that” So, thank you Iori for saying it, you were the best person to say it to Inaban. - It’s not too late, Inaban, it’s not too late. - And it was an awesome and intense scene. This time it was Iori who helped Inaban and that sure was for he best. - Taichi fell? From where… - Ok…good, he is not badly hurt. - He fell from a three trying to help a cat. - Inaban starts crying… she is relieved that Taichi is not badly hurt; Heartseed scared the hell out of her. - And Inaban were able to confess her love to Taichi and she removed some weights from her shoulders. She even did kiss him! - Towards the end we have a smiling and laughing Inaban! And the arc ends. I really like how it ends and thank you that it was Iori who saved Inaban this time.

Stupid. Do they really think that will make anyone who is boycotting it change their mind? What else could this be about? Maybe some stupid rights dispute after he left eufonius. Annoying - Paradigm is a great song. Guess that explains getting a new OP so incredibly late. I doubt that's a cost they wanted to take on. Man this show is just screwed at every turn, isn't it?
