I'm rather annoyed at Nobuna's reaction to the marriage proposal. Would have much preferred her to respond with her usual calm, menacing demeanor. It's really hard to buy her flipping the fuck out like that as a response except because of the Pure Virgin issues that permeate anime. She should know damn well about political marriages and that people are going to want to marry her for that reason and that it would be pretty much expected of her, and she should be smart enough to immediately know that was his motive and just shouldn't be turning into the blubbering blushing virgin the moment anything remotely related to sex comes up.
The conversation between Saru and the douchebag was incredibly irritating. Okay, so the one guy was a sleazy villain and he's supposed to be in the wrong, but some of the things Saru was saying were not much better. And in general, the show is going far too heavily in the direction of Saru needing to fix all of Nobuna's problems and do things for her, rather than simply assisting. He even flat out says "I'll make her dream come true for her." It's a somewhat standard line, but it has some irksome undercurrents particularly in a case like this. On the upside, it turns out Dousan the Viper had an adorable daughter. And it was at least nice to hear someone shout out "Women are not tools of conquest!" And the Imagawa invading Owari means we should get to enjoy some Noto Mamiko next time. And Mitsuhide should start doing stuff too, and she's one of the cuter members of the cast.

- Why are they starting this series with a male? Why?
- Blond girl is cute, and I liked the expression she made when the guy got in front of her. - All the girls are beautiful! - I hope the guy won’t be too annoying… - So, I guess telling the future since it’s the past for him will be the thing the guy will be used for. The guy is already quite irritating… Why they chose a male over a female??? WHY?? I’ll keep watching, hoping he won’t be too irritating in the following episodes. I really like the animation and of course all the girls are really cute and have interesting personalities.

Nobuna with hurt feelings, now that's an interesting sight.
Monkey was feeling sorry for himself. At least he had support to try and fix things he messed up. Even Nobuna's brother came to help out. That kid sure was useless in a fight... He ought to get some training since he's already in the past. Nobuna's surprise attack was pretty awesome! This a pretty good episode. Wish there were more of those.

The Atsumori dance scene was really fantastic, as well as the fight choreography and camera work continues to be. Monkey is still way too convinced this is his game. At least he told Nobuna she could make her own decision, but she sure as fuck doesn't need his permission to do that. As much as I like the overall execution, the way the main story is presented relatively seriously doesn't quite work when they use ridiculous means to achieve their ends, such as getting the enemy drunk to invade. Oh well. Still better than I ever expected.

Yay, my delicious evil ojou-sama Noto Mamiko appears! .... And then ends up being an incompetent coward and just doesn't really do much in the episode. I have mixed feelings about her not getting killed off and just the way the scene played out in general.
On a more general note, way, way too much Saru, way too little of anyone else. Though Nobuna's underlings had a few chances to shine in battle at least. And the show is relying way too much on Saru bailing out Nobuna from everything. She's freaking Nobuna(ga) and she has to rely on some dumb teenager fixing everything for her every, goddamn, time. This has to stop. Sure, its the show's thing for his knowledge of events to allow him to influence things, but he's going well beyond that and its getting out of hand. What the show is doing to Nobuna to allow Saru to be Mr. Hero is getting really tiresome and more than a little offensive.

Other than that, the shows production value seems to still be top-notch unless watching it on my phone obscured problems.

- Yeah..he is just a monkey with some knowledge.
- Tea a la Nobuna. - Nobuna “a brat” really? The male lead...should die. - Monkey succeeded…that’s too bad…we were so close. - They were yelling Nobuna name that made her brother surrender! - I guess the monkey can be useful… But yet again, how much better would have been the scene where Nobuna brother is saved if it was a girl who convinced Nobuna… I hope the monkey won’t be too annoying since… Wow the girls in this show are really beautiful… Wow.

Episode 4:
- Someone finally points out the obvious flaw in main character's plan: You can't rely on your knowledge of history if you've just changed it. - Nobuna's little brother got himself a nice harem. - Nobuna just moping around is really annoying. Somehow this show is managing to sideline her without putting a single sword in the male protagonist's hand. What the hell? - "I'll shut up and follow you." Yes, more of that, please. I like the idea of a male protagonist who wins with his brains, not his brawn, but Nobuna really wasn't being taken seriously by this show and it was starting to bother me. Let her take some action now. - Hahahahah, I love her idea of a prayer to the gods. - The battle was pretty cool, though I could have done without main character fondling Katsuie. - At least he paid for it in the end. I guess this show manages to stop short of truly pissing me off each episode with its flaws, while delivering other stuff done pretty well, so I'm still sticking with it.

Seems like this time they are having a strategist problem.
Getting Hanbei to join them was interesting. Who knew they'd had to deal with ghosts too ^^" OMG, Habei is a little girl?! Didn't see that one coming. That Nagamasa guy is pretty annoying and fickle.
