My guess is that is probably something from the 20th century given the trend, and I am thinking it is for something vintage that was never licensed. Given their willingness to license just about anything that's under the radar that I don't see it being anything recent.

Perhaps a blu-ray license? However unlikely, I'm interested to see what their next license will be. I've picked up Utena, Nadesico and will definitely be getting Space Adventure Cobra when that comes out, and I'm sure this will continue the trend of retro-classics, or perhaps even a modern-classic if they're feeling daring.
Usual wishlist (varying degrees of possibility to impossibility) -Legend of the Galactic Heroes -Cardcaptor Sakura -Gunbuster (though that may be in Discotek's hands already) |

They find it cost-prohibitive to do, so it is extremely unlikely they will do a BD unless they have high hopes for selling it.

I definitely wasn't expecting that. I guess with Bandai Visual selling the Blu-rays through TRSI, it's not that surprising that they'd form a connection and be able to work this out. I've gotten all of said Blu-rays as they've come out, so this doesn't do anything for me, but I'm glad to see that people who can't play Blu-rays or don't want to have to pay that much for each episode will have this option.
More importantly, though, Bandai is letting a completely unrelated American company have Gundam! TRSI has never really gone after a series right as it's started, so hopefully it won't be limited to them, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. EDIT: Hmm... so it's really just a distribution deal. Maybe this doesn't bode as well for future Gundam titles as I had hoped.
