Clannad CDs

Now that I will save money by not buying US releases anymore, I will be able to resume buying CDs from past seasons series. The first one will be Clannad. My question is, I know that they used the same soundtrack in the game that they used in the anime. So, I will need to get the Game soundtrack. My question is, do I have to get other CDs that are from the game like "CLANNAD Image Vocal Album "Sorarado"" among others, to have all the tracks that were used in the anime? If yes, which one would I need to get?

This should cover every single song that was used in the series, Clannad and Clannad ~After Story~ both.

3. CLANNAD remix album '-memento-'
4. CLANNAD Image Vocal Album "Sorarado Abento"

And that's it for the game CDs.

It looks like I will have to get it from CDJ, since Amazon JP doesn't want to ship it outside Japan...even if it is CDs.

The weirdest thing is that, on my drive home today, I was listening to all the Clannad music I have, and thinking about which songs were used at what points in the anime, and thinking about making a list of every song used in every episode with timestamps and all that information (which CD, which track number, all the different names) for each one. And right about the time I get home, this is posted, and before I see it, a post linking to posts that have done just that. This is a really crazy coincidence.

Don't quote me on this one (in fact, someone should probably go double-check what I'm about to say here ...), but I believe that was bundled with the Limited Edition of the visual novel. I don't think it was ever made available separately.

Correct. Considering Tomoyo After is a spin-off sequel to Clannad, I don't think any music from that was ever used in the Clannad anime.

Yeah, there was a discussion about that in the July imports thread on this forum.

The four listed and the two anime singles I'm guessing?

I have those two and the main soundtrack, so I placed my order for the other three, although I had both Sorarado albums digitally, Append having been purchased officially. Google's currency conversion tells me I paid over $100 for those three. That's a little hard for me to do, but now I should have all the music used in all of the Clannad anime, so I can't complain too much.

Indeed. As much as I love the series (second favorite of all time), I hope spending money on it is done... because with the Sentai's DVDs for both series, 4 artboxes bought from TW, JP BDs box for each series and 6 CDs... Do I want to know what the total amount of money is...? Still my answer to that is: "IT'S CLANNAD"
