Haru remembering his aunt.
It was nice learning something new about his past.
Still, it's nice he didn't give up on Shizuku and even confessed.
She almost freaked out, but she's not an ordinary girl.
Those two really make a great couple.
Haru is still hopeless when it comes to Shizuku.
She's on the other hand in denial when it comes to Haru.

The roles are reversed again. Now Haru is in love with Shizuku and trying to make her return his feelings, and she wants nothing to do with him. However, he's starting to win her over again, but she's not ready to admit it, so he doesn't think he's actually made any progress. I assume either she'll manage to keep denying her true feelings or at least convincing him that she's not falling back in love with him, or she'll accept them and he'll somehow go back to not quite being in love with her, for a few more episodes, until they can finally come together properly for the end. We're passed the halfway mark now, but there's still way too much to just keep going back and forth like this the whole time. Obviously I've been loving the series for the most part, so I assume it will pull out something to keep me pleasantly surprised, but I feel like it's taking it's first tiny step back since the first few episodes, and it had only been getting better until now. But again, its track record leads me to believe that it will be taking two steps forward in the future.

Episode 7:

- HanaKana-iinchou is doing her best! She also finds out that Haru got rejected by Shizuku.
- But hahaha Asako, she's not about to let HanaKana-iinchou step in. Man, Asako cares so much about her Mitty, and it's really adorable. It's a complicated relationship, because the things that Asako finds hardest to deal with about Shizuku are also the things she finds most attractive and reassuring.
- Haru's old caretaker being a scientist or doctor or whatever provides a decent explanation for why he's so advanced in his studies.

- Heh. This is a very Haru-like confession.
- "I have a cock. It's atrocious." O_O
- Haru is bad at love. Asako is good at crushing his hopes.
- Operation get a good culture festival booth spot: Failed. I like how freely Shizuku went along with the idea for making money though.
- HanaKana-iinchou you're much too sweet a girl for your own good.

- A smile means everything.
- When Haru smiles, girls are not afraid of him anymore…they fall for him.
- And he is probably the most popular guy at this time.
- Shizuku is now jealous…
- Haru gets into a fight to protect a girl, he went too far and now the girl he saved is afraid of him…
- At least, Shizuku was there to save him, from even worst.
- I sure hope you win Haru.
- Asako in a bikini! Awesome!!
- At the end Shizuku wants to go on a date with Haru.

I hope we have the date next episode.

- Of course Haru, Shizuku was pretty brave to ask you on a date…
- Natsume has a fever… Boo.
- Shizuku plans to study all the time… Even on a date.
- Haru’s big brother wants to speak with Shizuku…
- Haru got an e-mail and runs to them… while it’s only about sweets with Haru’s brother.
- Ok, so Haru’s father wants him to go back home and quit school and his brother wants him to stay at school and not go back home. He sees Shizuku as the only person that can keep Haru at school.
- But in the end the brother said “that was the plan”. So maybe the father real desire was to convince Haru to function normally in a society.
- Haru was hoping for Shizuku to say she loves him…but instead she said he can not give her orders… Oops…
- And then, Shizuku asked Haru to not lose sight of what he really wants. What he really wants is to be with Shizuku!
- And the girl did thank Haru for defending him yesterday… Competition?

- Yeah, you are definitely in love Chizuru…
- For Shizuku, studying is an easy way to escape.
- They want to help Chizuru but…
- But… I think it’s the last place she would like to be.
- Well, at least, Shizuku told Chizuru it was not her fault.
- And that scene where Chizuru said that Haru didn’t understand what Shizuku was trying to say… Wow.
- They are on a date… at the library.
- She no longer feels anything for him… Hmm… Let’s just say that I hope she will ask Asako for advices.

Zomie house of terror was a really something...
Shizuku still indecisive about Haru.
That punch in the face really froze their relationship for a moment there.
Poor Oshima just can't catch a break with Haru..
Haru seems to be very flammable when it comes to misunderstandings about Shizuku.
Lots of weird situations this time.
It sure was a fun cultural festival.
At least Shizuku was honest with him for a change.

Nope, I was right the first time. Haru is dangerous. For him to grab Oshima like that was just wrong, wrong, wrong. He's going to kill or seriously injure someone in his anger or panic.

I love that Shizuku was in that ridiculous cosplay for all of this. And Oshima might as well be in cosplay with her hair up like that. Shizuku's relationship with Haru suffers even more, but then starts on the upward angle again near the end. She still values her grades over her social life too much. Her and Natsume need to balance out, instead of being the two extremes. Or ideally, everyone would be a genius like Haru, but I guess that would cost some sanity, since he's definitely got some bigger problems with himself. Poor Oshima continues to be inadvertently jerked around by the eternally clueless Haru, and he's definitely got some impressive charm for multiple girls to have strong feelings for him even with all the shit he pulls toward them. This episode really made me realize how well this series has established all its characters and weaved their relationships together. Every time a new character shows, I think "oh yeah, that will make this situation even more interesting!" And it generally does.

- Hmm… Haru tells Chizuru that Shizuku shot him down…
- Asako is trying to rescue Shizuku. She is doing so much for her.
- And Haru confesses to Shizuku.
- But, Shizuku feels in constant danger now!
- They want a good spot for the culture festival, I should say the best. Too bad, it didn’t work.
- Haru gives Shizuku’s name to a barricade…
- How long Shizuku will be able to “convince” herself she is doing the right thing? How long it would take her true feeling to beat that?
- You are right, Shizuku is (really) cute.
