Of course, Japan's version of Arabian Nights must have tentacle monsters.

Anyways, I like it. Aladdin is a somewhat rare instance for me of a genuinely cute male character who isn't crossdressing.

And, of course, it ends how all shounen first episodes must end: with friendship! :D

Episode 2:

- They don't seem to have prepared very much for this dungeon crawling. How about, like... food?
- Um, especially when you have a special power fueled by hunger.

- Yaaaaay, Morgiana is back! And working for this insane sadist guy.
- ...He's so casual about jabbing swords into people.
- Ali Baba is dead. Poor Ali Baba.
- What happened to the big guy's wounds? I doubt they stopped to change clothes.
- Morgiana could pop someone's skull between those thighs.
- She can also run up walls. o_O Damn she's badass. But hasn't joined Aladdin's party yet. Next episode, hopefully.

I'll take the Aladdin, Alibaba, Mor (you don't get Mor period if the original concept survived) trio over the Lolidadin + Roidbaba original concept anyday of the week. The Sunday editor was spot on for telling her to gtfo with that concept.

Yes, totally rejecting the somewhat interesting concept for the most bland version possible is really a great idea.

That was ok, other than that Ishihara Kaori can't do a male voice to save her life, and lol Kaiji Yuki. Tomatoes was pretty great as Moriganna though.

I guess I'm onboard for now, whatever.

The main characters are all brought together, but they don't all join together just yet. It seems like it should be pretty soon, though. Jamil is quite the evil bastard. Will he be the main villain the entire time? Or might he get a little humanity as well? Great animation all around, of course. I look forward to how things develop.

Food and caffeine (or just rest)? No preparations because Baba was only showing Laddin the entrance to the tower?

I'm looking forward to seeing the group finally come together and what they do afterwards... I'm still trying to figure out if this'll be Alibaba's harem, or Morgiana's, since I'm undecided on whether Aladdin's a boy or girl. ;p

Totally Aladdin's harem.

Actually, I can see Morgiana falling for Ali Baba. I just have a hard time seeing Aladdin as a romantic partner. He's so... youthful.

Into the dungeon the two go, and chasing them is Jamil and his two slaves. Bad idea to go in on an empty stomach. Alibaba sure was clever in misleading Jamil with that translation. And away they go, ending up where the treasure is. That happens to be at the top of the tower.

This episode picks up right where the last one left off, and it was great in developing Alibaba and Aladdin. Turns out that blowing that flute requires more energy then one would think, and then Jamil turns out to be quite the menace there. The dungeon may be a place where nobody has returned alive, but Jamil is definitely the bigger threat. Can't wait to see what happens from there as it looks like Alibaba and Jamil will engage is some fight to the death or something like that.

Yeah the editor was a moron, this manga only gets compared to Full Metal Alchemist and is now officially the next big thing. Instead it could've been the next Double Arts (look @ the concept pics and the chains around the two) cept with a loli, oh what's that? Exactly.

Episode 3:

- Morgiana~! I don't care that she just kicked the protagonist into a wall. Everything she does is awesome!

So like, some other stuff happened. And it was decent. But what matters is MORGIANAAAAA!
