Those two never seem to get rid of that annoying sharif.
That stuck up guy is totally an annoying coward pretending to be strong.
Morgiana is also a weird one. Just can't figure her out.
That sharif is delusional is he thinks Aladdin will ever choose him.
So they beat the dungeon. Ammon sure said some interesting things.

The dungeon is not over yet. But now they reached the end, where Aladdin's title of Magi is now confirmed, and that it is his duty to anoint a new king. Then Judal strikes to take down the dungeon, and Morgiana is freed. Then Goltas takes it upon himself to make sure that Jamil gets what he deserves. Alibaba is now a rich guy, while Aladdin is somewhere outside the city.

Great episode here, as a lot about Aladdin is learned here, and it looks like he will end up in another place entirely. But Morgiana and Alibaba are going after him as part of their own dreams.

A nice cap to the first chapter. Clearing the dungeon already, Aladdin learns of his position as Magi while Alibaba gets the treasure he's been dreaming of his whole life and is now walking down the path of the future king, made obvious by the fact that a Magi is one who creates kings. Morgiana is finally free, Jamil is out of the picture, and what looks like main antagonist and/or anti-hero addition to the main cast of protagonists has made his appearance. The issue at hand has been dealt with, but now they all look to the future for their respective goals, which will of course all come together, probably pretty quickly.

So Aladdin is a reincarnation of King Solomon? As in, the biblical King Solomon? Was this in the original 1001 Nights, or is it something unique to this story?

Either way, this is turning out very interesting.

Looks like Alibaba was bored without Aladdin.
At least he did something good with his treasure.
Aladdin met some interesting new friends.
Those Kou empire people were not very nice.
Seems like Aladdin always shows up somewhere where people need help.
That Granny was really nice and has some interesting things to say.

Alibaba is Ultimate Good Guy. Even Morgiana has to open up to him now. So the two of them are united, as Alibaba longs for Aladdin to show up. Obviously he will eventually, but he has a lot of his own story to go through without either of those two. They probably could've at least waited an episode between introducing Grandma and killing her off, but Aladdin's reaction in the beginning of the next episode should make for some good material.

Alibaba is now living large, using his fortune to improve everybody's lives in town. In the meantime, Magi is in a village that has been at odds with the Kou Empire. The princess comes offering to unify everybody, but it seems like Ryosai wants war and kidnaps one of the villagers. Aladdin shares his vision with the princess to unify without war. The guys mount a rescue mission where they don't kill, and then the village elder gets killed by an arrow just when they were about to become part of the Kou Empire.

This continues to be a great show, and the arrow at the end is really something to think about. I think that Ryosai is the one who fired it since he is the type that wants to conquer rather than join forces like the princess wants to do. It seems like while the princess means well, there are those serving her who disagrees with her pacifist approach to things. Seems like the Kou Empire is not one big happy family.
