I really hope so. I don't know if there's more source material to draw upon, or if they'd have to invent something for more anime, but I'd love to see more of Miho and the rest of the club.

I know there's a prequel novel, not sure about any sequels. Though the lack of one doesn't NEED to prevent a sequel from happening. And they could always just write another one... someone on Twitter made the brilliant suggestion of a Saunders and St. Gloriana-hen.

Has there been a split-cour series that wasn't known to be such in advance? We can only wait and see what they do, I guess.

Yes, though the only one I can think of off the top of my head is AKB0048. I'm pretty sure there have been others. Maybe TWGOK?

These are (so far) the only two that I'm importing from this season, and I've still got three(? I think) earlier series coming in.

Fortunately, I only have one show from past seasons to worry about (Jintai). The bigger problem is upcoming shows. And the fact that I've splurged on too many other things recently.

Who could have imagined that a show about girls and tanks would produce the most heart-pounding, exciting scenes of the season? Terrific episode all-around from the slow first half building up to the non-stop action after the eye-catch.

Anzu finally decides to actively participate and together with Yuzu's driving provided at least 2 kills before Turtle team got hit and turned turtle. They also damaged the IS-2 enough, I think, that the Pravda team needed to fix it, giving just enough time for them to win the match... Or at least I think they will win...

The volleyball team were pretty awesome too, ducking all the attacks, though I think some of the maneuvers were physically impossible for a tank :D

Edit : Rewatching the part where the Turtle team went against the 4 tanks, they only did superficial damage to the IS-2 but distracted it long enough that the rest of the team got a head start

- A new team has been formed: The mallards. Led by Sodoko.
- There is something important the student council has to tell to Miho. Instead, it's a nabe feast.
- So Miho may soon be a Nishizumi no longer.
- Need a game plan to keep warm on Russian seas.
- The Russian tanks are going down. Wait, something is not right if that was too easy.
- And Oarai is in trouble. They are surrounded by Russian tanks, and are asked to surrender in three hours.
- It's do or die. Losing here means the school is history.

Such a great episode here. The schools battle on the frozen tundra and facing the foe that Miho lost to last year. So we see the girls try to stay warm, and at the same time see some great action. And then the shocking truth at the end of the episode was really something that explains everything that led to the reason why Oarai brought back tankery this year. Next episode is really going to be something.

It's getting more and more surprising that none of the girls in these clubs accidentally get's their head blown off. Or is taken out when an ammo magazine gets hit. Or is just pierced by a piece of random shrapnel. But I guess that would ruin the adorable exciting fun of it.

Delay alert. Looks like 10.5 will air on the 24th instead of episode 11. Episode 12 tentative air date is... I'm reading March in there somewhere but not sure if it's related. Probably January though!?

Yeah, just saw the ANN article via Fence. They are indeed pushing episode 11 until about March.

Good job fucking this up to such an enormous degree, guys! Talk about dropping the ball on one of the biggest surprise hits of the year.
