Not what I was expecting either, but now that we know Miho's personality it's just what I would expect her to do in that situation.

- Time to trap those Saunders tanks using the radio as misdirection.
- Kay has finally figured it out. And she prefers to have a fair fight.
- Two tanks are down with Saunders chasing.
- Up the hill for a risky one-shot win.
- And Ooarai wins! Their snipe hits Kay just a moment before Miho's tank bites the dust.
- Way to dampen the mood. Mako's grandmother is in the hospital. Maho was generous to lend her their chopper.

While Saunders is quite a strong opponent, it seems like they rely on their numbers and tricks too much and when their trump card was snuffed out, pretty much only Kay knew what to do. Not exactly the most organized academy out there, as they pretty much thought that the only way to command the tanks was through the radio. But with Kay in charge, at least they were not as disorganized as they could have been, and she prefers to do things the honorable way. Pretty nice episode overall to see how far this ragtag bunch using skeletons from the closet have come. Now, there is Mako's grandmother, and then there is Anzio coming up where Anchovy makes her debut.

- Mako's grandmother may be ailing, but it's not enough to keep her from being cranky.
- So that's why Miho wanted to quit tankery for good. She surrendered a match to save her teammates when their tank fell into the drink.
- Win at all cost is the Nishizumi family motto. But not something Miho can live under.
- The search for the hidden tank is on. The ship is a maze, but the tanks are finally found.
- After all that, time for a bath.
- And Oarai makes quick work of the Italians. Anchovy is seeing stars after a quick battle.

While it was a good episode that revealed Miho's history about why she was determined to quit tankery for good, I would have liked to see more of the match against Anzio. It seems like Anchovy is the type of commander with an insanity streak, but we will never know for sure what the Italians bring to the table since only the decisive blow was shown. Now that this ragtag bunch has won twice that they are now getting their name across. Next up, the Russians.

-Quiet & calm Mako has the loudest & angriest grandma ever.
-A Mako in the lap is worth two in the tank.
-On top of a tank is the best place for a picnic.
-Inside a tank is the best place for a nap.
-Butt hurt. Heh. That line's getting doujined.
-In an emergency mudslide a tank is the exact opposite of a floatation device.
-Oddball's happy face is kinda dirty looking.

-Come on girls. Driving a tank is easy. Just read the manual. And be a newtype.
-Hah! That's a good question space cadet rabbit, why are you on a ship?
-New tank found! With three barrels. Needs a King Ghidorah mascot.
-The first years are lost. How long can they survive in the bowels of the ship?
-G-g-g-ghosts scare Mako. Poor Mako.
-Spare tank two found. Oh and the first years didn't have to eat each other to survive.
-Hah! Well that match was short.

So they have two new tanks. Does that mean we get two new tank teams?

- Saori gets exited when she hears guns firing!
- That’s a nice way to deliver the cakes at your table.
- Yukari was not a practice this morning… let’s all go to her house!
- It looks like it’s quite rare for Yukari to have friends.
- Yukari was spying on Sanders. That’s where she was.
- No… they discovered she is an imposter. Run Yukari Run!
- Reconnaissance is approved!
- Of course they were worried about you, Yukari.
- They are painting the thanks back to thanks colors. Will be better that way.
- New uniforms. They look great in them.
- I sure love Kei even if she is the enemy. She is a lot of fun!
- Time for the match… it will be 5 vs 10… Good luck!
- Their communications is being intercepted… cell phones are the solution. They are amazing.

The so awesome match will continue in… two weeks…

Saw this on Crunchryoll. Pretty damn awesome. Very nice comparisons to the show, and it gives a great feel for Ooarai in general.

Really nice. This kind of extras are one of my favorites. Nice to have it now. I hope will have something like that on the Blu-ray.

Episode 7:

- The girls look quite nice in their casual clothes.
- Holy crap chill out grandma. Poor Mako.

- Hana carries Mako with no problem. Saori can't do it. Hana is the super strong Mugi ojou-sama of the group.
- Ahhhhh, we finally find out about Miho's tank trauma. She didn't almost die - but she left her tank to save someone else who was drowning, and lost in the process. The trauma really goes back to her overbearing family.
- Hahah, Yukari has it so bad for Miho. =D
- Their next match is against... Pizza Tanks! Do they do delivery in tanks?

- Practice. First years can barely lift the rounds.
- Lose weight! Improve blood pressure! Tanks, the miracle cure!
- Miporin is under attack! An avalanche of questions. But her teammates step in to cover mechanics, paperwork, driving, and love.
- Hah, maybe Mako won't be of much help with steering anyway. Her teachings boil down to RTFM.

- "Hey guys we should have more tanks lying around somewhere." >_>
- lol at the explanation for the school ships.
- Tank get! Looks likc a piece of crap but I'm sure the mysterious vehicle club will have it ready to go in no time.

- Saori and the first years are lost in the bowels of an enormous friggin' ship.
- Hana doesn't afraid of anything. Yukari takes advantage of the dark to get her hands on Miho at the first opportunity.
- Haha, Yukari's ringtone nearly killed Mako.
- Saori harem get!
- Wait how the heck are they going to get that tank out of there?

- So many girls bathing!
- Eyes. All over naked Miho. =D

Daaaaaaaaaaamnit. End of this episode = why this show should be two cour. ;_; I was holding out some hope that they'd have a full battle with Anzio, and leave the showdown with Maho until a sequel, but considering they just blew through that, I suppose they'll wrap it up this season. Though I still expect a sequel!

Isn't there one more tank? They upgunned the Miho's IV and added the Goose. I guess they're saving it for the final.

What did the Pravda commanders drive up in? Stalin's Calliope (Katyusha rocket launcher)?

Loved Pravda's theme song and the girls singing along. Anyone know what it is?

So Miho has been disinherited. Don't like the mom at all. I hope Miho wins it all and spits in her eye.

From reading elsewhere, they're sticking with the theme. It's a song called 'Katyusha.'

How is Miho going to get out of this one?

Yeah, it's a problem when she can't enforce discipline and her troops' enthusiasm carries them away. Then she gets even more bad news, in an attempt to further crush her. ;_; You can do it, Miho!
