Good choice for the first collection.

A very nice piece of art. Sadly, the show itself didn't wow me enough to buy this in this bare-bones sub-only DVD-only format.

Anyway, I agree. Nice cover, but while I've never seen the anime I did read the manga when it ran in SJ and I wasn't that impressed. |

How does a dub make something a complete release? It's made in Japan you know.

Anyway, I really don't mean to start a sub/dub fight with anyone, I was just stating a reason I won't be buying it. |

That cover looks really nice. But I'm not planning to get this.

But your opinion is your opinion. I just don't see it only being in Japanese with subtitles as an incomplete product as you get the product in it's original language with a way to understand it. That's just how I see it. |

And I agree it's smart on their part not to dub EVERYTHING they release, but I think they're too trigger-happy with the sub-only releases. I mean, if we're talking about something like Gintama that is extra long, appeals to the more otaku-ish audience, and doesn't translate well anyway, a dub might very well be a waste of resources. But I don't think they're doing any favors to the US anime market longterm by releasing action/shonen shows like this or Blue Exorcist (not Sentai, I know) without a dub. |
