Nekomonogatari TV specials announced

Shaft promised to animate all of the Monogatari series, so this gets us one step closer. I'm guessing it'll cover both Black and White, and the mention of Black is just for the preview.

Would kinda first like to know when we'll see Kizumonogatari released though, Shaft.

I feel like they have to get Kizumonogatari out very soon. They've announced two adaptations of the same series since they announced Kizumonogatari now. Though I have a feeling that said event will have some kind of news as to when Kizumonogatari is being released.

Either way, super excited for more Monogatari.

I think it only exists to pad out the number of things Shaft can say they're working on or just finished...

As noted in ultimatemegax's solicitation thread, Nekomonogatari Kuro is coming. And it's airing in one 2-hour chunk of four "episodes" on 12/31.

I guess Shiro will be similar.

Sooo.... my dilemma is if I count this as a Winter TV series. It's more like a TV special than an actual weekly series. I changed the subject line of this to say "TV Specials" but if it comes to 8 episodes' worth it's sort of in between. ::confused::

Since we don't have a general thread for the "second season," I'll post it here. Newtype reports that Zenmonogatari, the "second season" will likely begin next fall. (It says "After Fall" but that's the best I can make of it.) This comprises:

Nekomonogatari (White)
Kabukimonogatari
Hanamonogatari
Otorimonogatari
Onimonogatari
And Koimonogatari

Edit: This set of books is termed the "second season" and was previously mentioned to be rumored to have a 26 episode adaptation in the works earlier this year. There is a "final season" set of novels that also appear to be waiting to be animated:

Tsukimonogatari
Owarimonogatari
Zokuowarimonogatari
(Last two not released yet)

No word on Kizumonogatari's movie.

Oh ok thanks, this is definitely not getting counted as a Winter TV series for the sales thread, then. Though I'll probably track the sales somewhere in my spreadsheet anyway just so I don't miss anything *monogatari.
