What's the future of the various Ghost in the Shell properties?

Earlier today, RightStuf.com has removed the listing for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex DVD Set (Hyb) (Anime Legends). Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig DVD Set (Hyb) (Anime Legends) is still listed on the site.

EDIT: the product code for Season 1 apparently changed from me25268 to zmg00145
EDIT 2: S1 AL is re-listed @ TSRI once more with the zmg00145 product code

Here is the rest of the franchise round-up:
- Ghost in the Shell and Ghost in the 2.0 (DVD & Blu-ray) are still in-print.
- Ghost in the Shell: Innocence is OOP and currently not licensed (previous license holder is Bandai Entertainment).
- The compilation OVAs of The Laughing Man and Individual Eleven (DVD & Blu-ray) are still in-print.
- Solid State Society (DVD & Blu-ray) is still in-print.

With Manga Entertainment letting series go OOP and not releasing any anime, will this franchise (eventually) follow suit? It will definitely be interesting how this play out.

Since they're a part of the production committee, I don't see them letting the license go unless they're going entirely out of business. Would make sense to me if they either passed distribution duties to Anchor Bay or make a deal with another third party distributor.

This is one of those weird series where 2 North American companies were on the same committee, Manga was also on the committee.

I definitely hope as well. Best case scenario would be someone releasing this on Blu-ray.
