Well, that something that I will buy. No BD in Japan so DVD is fine. I hope they will release the newer IDOLM@STER as well!

Sentai is seriously on some trippy stuff. Licenses left and right!
Seriously though, I'm excited for this. I think it's good that it doesn't try to be like the game(s) because I don't know how that would work. A lot of these game -> anime adaptions tries too much to replicate the games which in many instances doesn't work very well (see School Days and Tales of Vesperia which I personally didn't like that much), but I see this isn't the case with IM. Do note that I haven't watched The IDOLM@STER, so I wouldn't know what qualities it holds. This might also be why they've licensed this instead of The IDOL@MASTER. Moe + mecha probably has a broader appeal than a game -> anime adaption of a game that not THAT many has heard of, seeing as none of the IM games has made it outside Japan. Maybe if this sells decently they'll try to get the The IDOLM@STER over as well. Also, Xenoglossia is undoubtly easier to license as the The IDOL@MASTER uses the original voice cast from the games. It's about time this show was picked up by someone. But at the very least it has been licensed. I'm probably going to pass on this.

Yes! Yes! YES!
![]() So GLAD to see that this got picked up at last! Being aware of the show's origins (it's not like we'll get the game series it loosely adapts anyway), it's nice to see another giant robot show being brought here. I'll certainly get this here title at some point.

This. But I'll probably buy it anyway. I have all the home console games already anyway. So why not?
