Crunchyroll to Stream "Straight Title Robot Anime"

Hark! Crunchyroll has added yet another new title to its winter simulcast lineup! Straight Title Robot Anime, the first series to be produced using MikuMikuDance software will be available for viewing every Wednesday, starting on February 6, 2013 at 8:45a.m. Pacific Time for premium members, and February 13 for free members.

Straight Title Robot Anime will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience worldwide, except for Japan.

I saw them complaining about the title at the AnimeNewsNetwork forums.

My gut reaction was, "there's an web anime being streamed that is made with MikuMikuDance and its the title that you are focusing on?"

Sure "No Frills Robot Anime" might be more accurate, but "Straight Title" is close enough for government work.

For those of you who have been enjoying AKB0048: next stage, we've got news for you! The first season, AKB0048, featuring Japan's favorite idol group, will finally be available on Crunchyroll!

AKB0048 will have the same regions as AKB0048: next stage, meaning it will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, South and Central America.

AKB0048 will be launching this Sunday, February 10, 2013, at 7:30am PST, the same time that new episodes of AKB0048: next stage are launched. 2-3 episodes will be made available each week, for both free and premium users!

Crunchyroll Adds "GJ Club" Anime to Winter Lineup

A new series is kicking off on Crunchyroll this week, with the addition of GJ Club to the winter 2013 streaming lineup. Episodes will debut every Wednesday at 11:00 am Pacific Time starting on February 20. GJ Club kicks off this week for premium members with episode 7, which free members can check out on February 27. The first six episodes will arrive at a later date.

GJ Club will be available to folks in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

And it looks like with this, everything of value for Winter 2013 save for the new Precure has been picked up. Also, betting Sentai picked this up. This is the same stunt pulled by Crunchyroll when Sentai grabbed Little Busters.
