Yeah. It seems like CR is on a quest to stream every single short series this season.

Which is fine, the more shows they get the better, but at least spread them out or something. Pair them up with a full series each time. If that means you need to hold off on announcements for a bit, big deal, so hold off. It's not like this flood of shorts can possibly be doing anything positive to their reputation. It's certainly not making me happy and I'm a pretty big CR fan.

And yet we have another short one... Oh well... I definitely can't wait for full 25 minutes shows now.

Given the press release TBS released with Sentai advertising Tamako Market and Sasami-san, I feel it's quite probable that Sentai has rights to those two and they'll be on TAN like last season's TBS titles. Haganai was licensed by Funi, so they'll probably get NEXT if numbers were decent for S1. I don't see Crunchy getting a single TBS title this season.

And here we have 3 of my most anticipated series, including my most anticipated one, Tamako Market... It's sad that the three of them have really slim chances to be on CR...

This is why I hate TBS. But I assume Mazui or UTW will have Tamakoma covered, and Mazui will presumably do Haganai Next, so whatever. Sasami-san could be a pain though, if CR doesn't get it. Maoyuu and Vividred are big unknowns.

2-minute shorts of high school antics to premiere in Japan on January 6

The Comic Natalie website reports that the media service Crunchyroll will stream the Ishida and Asakura (Ishida to Asakura) gag comedy anime overseas as it airs in Japan. The two-minute surreal comedy shorts will premiere on Tokyo MX TV station on Sunday, January 6 at 10:27 p.m...
Yet another short, this time of 2-minutes. C'mon, let's bring on the true shows of the winter season.

Well, technically this latest shorts series hasn't even been officially announced by them. A Japanese news site leaked that information.

That said, they probably haven't finalized much of any full series yet (several of which they will probably be sublicensing from Sentai), so maybe they just wanted to go ahead and start getting the ones they could out of the way rather waiting. They did space Love Live in between shorts series.

I'm thinking they probably were, since they announced home video rights later. Sure hope the sequel is a lock for them, at least. Media Factory, rather than TBS, seemingly has the international rights on that one (they did for the first series at least).

On that note, does any one know if either of the OVA's are recommended watching before the second series? Think I may just wait to watch them later.
