In any case, I just want to say the clean ED is a nice treat. It really blends well with the somewhat short song.

Looks like this is the new series I'll be looking forward to after AL, and alongside with AzuDai.

Positive vote from me. I liked the Jonathan The Seal episode more than I thought I would and so far his antics haven't gotten annoying as some mascot characters do. It took me forever to figure out what the heck Diabolo was, but overall I enjoyed this disc and I'm really looking forward to the next volume...

I've actually seen it done live, though I didn't know it was called that. I used to go through Hamburg, Germany once a year or so, and practically around the corner from my hotel was a live variety-show theater that specialized in performances of acrobats, jugglers, tightrope walkers, animal acts, etc. After seeing it once, I was charmed by the whole thing, and made a point of hitting the Variete theater when I was in town after that. And in one show I did see a young man doing the Diabolo thing. It struck me as a sort of inside-out yo-yo -- manipulating an hourglass-shaped prop with a wire stretched between two sticks held in either hand. Unfortunately, the guy I saw was off his stride that day and dropped the thing a couple of times... All in all, even done well it did seem like a pointless display of technical skill, and my reaction was about that of the audience in Kaleido Star to Rosetta's performance. Maybe it's a European thing, I dunno. Sora had the right idea in spicing it up a bit , I would say.

Circ du Soleil has done some AMAZING Diabolo routines, and as someone who has tried to use one himself, they are A LOT harder than they look.

Of course, now I want to get one, just to try it out.

ADV, how about marketing a Kaleido Star Diabolo set as part of your toy line?

Heh. That's alright lookit what I found in the Sunday paper.

Apprently there's a school in the Seattle area that will teach circus acrobatics to anyone with the time, money and inclination. Nifty, eh?

Positive from me, I'm really enjoying the series so far. Anyone else sad to see Rosetta leave after only one episode (though I'm pretty sure she'll be back, hopefully sooner rather than later)? She's definitely my favourite character of the series so far.
