Complete Kiminozo & Akane Maniax cheap R3TW releases.

Proware media have released all Kiminozo & Akane Maniax, including the OVA. on R3.

Their Kiminozo box is better looking with Mitsuki on its cover than the R2J version (on Yesasia), & can be bought with all 7 volumes as a complete set, or just with volume 1.

The problem is that several of those bundles seem to be exclusive to Proware's own shop which of course doesn't ship internationally. I've seen some of them at jsdvd, like Patlabor and NieA_7, but I think most of them don't make it out.

Can't find the Kiminozo OVA on JSM. Rest are here, including Akane. At least the #1 + box is available generally.

What Kiminozo OVA? I've got both series (Kiminozo & Akane Maniax) on R2 and I've not seen a separate OVA for release.

The R3 releases like all of Prowaremedia's releases are carbon copies of the Japanese R2's, meaning no subtitles and exactly the same video & audio, apart from when they include DTS (Evangelion in DTS is awesome btw [img]/images/graemlins/happy.gif[/img] )

Sorry, I took an Akane cover for the OVA, but what I was thinking of was the Special Fan Disc!

I ordered the full Kiminozo series and it turned up today. I haven't watched any of it yet, but I can make a comment on the box and the DVDs themselves.

First, the box is the nice chip board style. The weird thing about it was, however, it had some grass (yes, GRASS) INSIDE and some weird dirt. I have no idea WTF that was though. The other thing to note about the box is that it was bowed a bit in the center. After a little finesse, I straightend it out.

The DVDs themselves had no real problems. One did have some stray plastic floating around in the case. They all have inserts, which is very nice.

I'll let you know about the content, if there are any visual issues, once I've watched a few discs. Since they seem to be ripped right from the R2s, I doubt they will have any issues. LPCM audio will kick ass. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
