Damn. Nice price too. Guess I'll be picking this up at some point since ADV will probably never finish the series.

Yes it is. Not only does this release finish the gold saints arc that ADV left off, but it also finishes the Poseidon arc. Yesasia carries another version of the R3 set in Cantonese, so that is another option, but it is a little more expensive. If you don't understand Japanese, Mandarin, or Cantonese, then it doesn't matter which set you get, just go for the cheaer one, lol

I would/might go for a Japanese language version. Japanese is the language it was made in etc.

Sorry to be off topic, but can anyone explain the official story behind why ADV doesn't have the ending of Saint Seiya? I tried a search and was unsuccessful (I remember a post that gave some explanation but I think it may have been deleted by now).

Anyway, that set looks cool but it's too rich for my blood. That, and I wouldn't understand what's going on anyway

"We released all we had" is the official story. To go beyond that, you require speculation. Just remember that Toei Hates Us.

Too rich? The set comes out to less then 16 dollars a DVD. If anything, that set is extremely cheap.
