Till death do us part: Couples in anime

Often times in anime we get a "good couple". For instance a Belldandy and Keichi, or a Naru and Keitaro. You know, a couple that once they get together during or after the show, you know they'll be together till one of them kicks the bucket(although in Belldandy's case maybe longer heh). So I figured why not make a thread and ask about it.

What couples have you seen in anime(can be a favorite or etc) that give the impression that they'll be together till one of them meets their maker?

I would say Claus and Lavie from Last Exile. Claus seems to be a chick magnet but only Lavie understands his sleepy-head mentality and loves him for it.

Didn't know if I should mention that one due to them not really being a solid couple(although it's pretty close). I do agree with you though. It seems that Kaname is the only one who can understand Souske's militarism and often shows her softer side towards him.
