• Scheduled for a broadcast on TV Tokyo in Spring `06 an Action Fantasy by Aniplex named 牙 - KIBA has been announced. The first staff details according to Moonphase:

• Btw. Moonphase states that Black Lagoon is going to commence broadcast in April 2006.

• Also Moonphase states that the recently announced anime adaption of Oh! Great´s Air Gear is going to be animated by Toei Animations.

• Taiyo Matsumoto´s Tekkon Kinkurito (aka Black & White) will be adapted into a theatrical anime scheduled for a 2006 release in Japan. Not news per se, however (I´m not sure wether this has been posted yet) Studio 4°C is going to be responsible for the animation production according to Moonphase.

Interesting. Thanks for the news! I'm sure Nana will be wonderful as anime. I wonder what voice actors will voice Nana and Hachi...

How is Toei with fanservice? Because there's a lot of it in Air Gear as most people know. Myself I don't mind as long as the <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'> kisses between Akito and Ikki </span> are still there. [img]/images/graemlins/catgirl0.gif[/img]

Animation-wise nothing... though it's not exactly as we are in the best hands when Toei owns a series (or it's international license). This has nothing to do with their R1 endeavors, but with stuff that happens over there such as series blockades, withholding of materials and the such... This is me being nice BTW [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img].

On a brighter note, more .hack! Awsomeness, especially if they have Kajiura back. I'm not familiar with the franchise beyond the first series, but is it possible for this one to pick up where that left off, or will it need to be something different because of Twilight?

If you desperately need to have the series on DVD, there's always the option of biting the bullet and getting the R2J DVDs when they are available.
