.hack question about the novel characters...

i finished the 1st novel...

great story on how orca and balmung killed the one sin and got their titles.

ok question i have is... does the 2 novel characters <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'> yates and watari </span> (sp) ever show up during the game or anime? i dont seem to recall them during sign or the ps2 game.

or is that answered in the 2nd novel?

did they ever publish the full twilight poem/story in japan? the one that the frament/the world is based on... i love the whole mythos around .hack

Apparently the one in the game is the complete one (the intro of part 1 + the epitaph pages you obtain in-game + Wiseman's e-mail = Epitaph of the Twilight)

The characters return in .hack//A.I. Buster 2. Brief panel cameos are in some of the .hack manga, otherwise, no.

Kamui, from .hack//Legend of the Twilight comes into play in //A.I. Buster 2
Oh and in //Legend of the Twilight vol. 3 <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'>Kamui is seen, in real-life confessing her love to her co-worker, who is Alberio</span>

It should also be mentioned...
<span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'>That Yates is mentioned in Liminality. She/he is the one who apparently first released/translated parts of the Twilight poem and posted it online.
Yates also composed a poem at the end of events in the Twilight manga. So one has to think she was around. It's hard to say because she supposedly has many avatars...</span>
