I also wanted to repost something Gatts put in the old thread, since I thougth it was laid out nicely and answered a number of questions multiple people have had:

After Triangle Hearts 3 there was a fan disc released in 2001 called Triangle Hearts 3 - Lyrical Toy Box which had a mini scenario called Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. This mini-scenario was expanded into the anime that is known by the same name.

Hopefully that makes things clear. The Triangle Hearts universe and the Nanoha universe are separate. They are have a number of the same characters, but the time line is different. You can think of Nanoha as an alternate universe.

So, my prediction for season 2 was that, since they made such a big deal about how Fate was sure to get off easy, no worries mate, well, obviously she was going to end up on death row. I figured we'd see season 2 feature Nanoha storming the TSA to bust Fate out. Yeah!!

Well, I was totally wrong, and six years of probationary TSA service from Fate seems to put the kibosh on that storyline. Too bad, because I'd love to see Nanoha go rogue for Fate's sake. My other scenario (Alicia's back from the dead, and boy is she pissed!) seems unlikely after Fate got to meet her in the book.

So what can they do for season 3? There are, what, ten or eleven magic users, packing some truly massive firepower. It's just unwieldy from a storytelling perspective. They could drop Hayate &amp; co., but who would stand for that? Setting them at odds with each other has some potential, but really, that's what the first two seasons did. What's left to threaten these folks?

I hope we get 26 eps, with some room for "relationship" episodes, but on the other hand, the 13 ep season helps keep the show focused and <font color="red">hot blooded!</font>

Just finished this. I was very impressed with the action sequences and I personally think that this was probably one of the 3 best endings of 2005. I did however feel that considering that the 2nd season centred around her, Hayate was rather bland and lack the interesting personalities of Nanoha or Fate. She seemed more like a plot device than an actual character and sometimes I thought she seemed more like your typical bland lead in a harem anime.

Does anyone know if there are plans for a 3rd season? There's also a manga series, right? Does it go beyond this ending?

Oh...and I don't think I am the only one who has noticed some similarities between the OP of this season and Kannaduki no Miko's OP. I was actually half-expecting an ending between Nanoha and Fate to be something like KnM's ending. [img]/images/graemlins/catgirl0.gif[/img] I hope a 3rd season will have more shoujoai and actually make them a canon couple. And I guess a 3rd season will give us some boobie fanservice?

Sadly nothing but rumors and pictures with no source, but a third season seems like a no-brainer... lets hope the creators agree.

It's based off a minigame of a game thats based off a character in another game series so... er, it's basically an original story. There is no manga I have ever heard of, and I see nothing on ANN about one.

There is a very, very short Manga for A's, its about 7 chapters long. Its basically sidestories, filling in some of the gaps that the anime didn't cover.

Generally character interactions and random extra information.
