Anime Draft 2006 - Round 5 Drafting

Alright, here I go...

My Round 4 pick is the appropriately named Lust, from Fullmetal Alchemist.

My Round 5 pick is Urd from Ah! My Goddess. I promised myself I would draft her if no one else did. [img]/images/graemlins/catgirl0.gif[/img]

Finally the last straggler team coached by Dagger has made the closing pick for the second round and started off the third round with his pick.

But first Misato the last character to get into the draft with a rather weak showing. Lets start this off fast with the fact Misato looks like she is going no where fast. She lost the battle of the majors and barely squeaked in on the last chance fast poll. Where was all those rabid Eva fanboys? Is Misato too old for this loli/shota game? Will she just drown her sorrows in a dringking binge? Bah too depressing lets go on to the next pick.

Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo, er I guess Misato will have a drinking buddy after al. Ryoko the xenopile teleporting, lazer firing, high flying, super-strength girl of the tenchi universe is know on the field. Seeing how only one mature woman has done resonablely well here I'm not sure an ancient demon like her will find that fetish audence. Can spike hair and mean looks girl get the votes? What will the bar tab be for this group?

Okay and for our first look at third round field is Alucard from Hellsing. Hmmm this ones doesn't fit the pattern, except maybe old folks. Looks like Dagger is looling for a little power in his game. Still having a vampire amoung all the virgins that are sure to come in this round might not be a bad idea. Still will gothic subclass come out in force? Is this a statement pick meant to establish Dagger as a contenter or prentender? Will Alucard even care to get up in the morning to compete?

Do my eyes decieve me or did coach dagger just draft the first villian of the 2006 draft. Well Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist is certainly a nice way to go if you got to go. Anyhoo with a name like Lust I don't care if she is good. Now will there be any more taken from FMA?

Urd from Ah! My Goddess, the final piece of the holy trinty is final taken. The elder goddess put O!MG/A!MG tied for first for the most characters taken so far. So will Urd dominate or is there some tricks up the sleeves of the other teams?

Coming on the heels of my 4th Round pick, for the 5th Round I choose Seras Victoria from Hellsing . She did pretty well for me in the 2004 Draft (10th Round) & should have a good showing this time around.

This team shall now be named Team LBJ (Lusty, Busty, and Jolly). Alucard is also happy that he has another way of filling his blood coffers with Lust's piercing finernails. Or could Lust be using him to gather blood for herself and her own ambitions? Urd brings yet more booze to the LBJ bar after escaping the clutches of the ecchi destroyers. Even if they should happen to find Urd now, Urd has some very powerful allies that even Mahoro will have trouble with. The ecchi factor with Team LBJ is off the charts due to their drunkeness. Jimmie is staring his own Science Ninja Team with these two picks. Apparently, this team has three main requirements as Gatchaman sits back and plays Charlie in this organization. The successful candidates for the team must be female, be a good shot with some police or other justice related experience, and look good. While the old school thing continued with the round four pick of Ginrei from Giant Robo, his fifth round pick of Seras Victoria from Hellsing brings some freshness to this band of old schoolers. Both of these girls are excellent with a gun and will be vital to the team mission of taking down the competition in the Anime Draft.

How about a shot at this team, Chimp.

I usually will update it once a day, around 7-8pm. Some days (like yesterday), though, I have to skip because of getting home very late in the evening. There was just enough time to make a pick and say a few things before bed. I'd expect that to happen about once a week. The board gets caught up the next day however, so all's well. Never fear [img]/images/graemlins/happy.gif[/img].
